Kravtsov is slated to sign a three-year deal with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL, per Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov was put on unconditional waivers by Vancouver earlier Tuesday for the purpose of contract termination, and it didn't take long for him to link up with the team he played for in Russia in recent years. The No. 9 overall pick in 2018 accounted for one goal, four points and a minus-7 rating over 10 appearances with AHL Abbotsford this season. Kravtsov recorded 27 goals and 58 points across 66 regular-season games with Traktor in 2024-25, so he should have more success overseas.

Kravtsov was placed on unconditional waivers by the Canucks on Tuesday for the purpose of terminating his contract.
EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov was on regular waivers Oct. 2, but went unclaimed by the rest of the league, so it seems unlikely he would get picked up this time around. After suiting up with AHL Abbotsford in 10 minor-league contests, in which the 2018 ninth-overall pick notched one goal and three helpers, it seems he will likely head back to the KHL. At this point, with just 64 regular-season games of NHL experience, the 25-year-old Kravtsov will likely finish his career in his native Russia.

Kravtsov was placed on waivers by the Canucks on Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since being selected ninth overall in the 2018 NHL Draft by the Rangers, Kravtsov has gone on to play in just 64 regular-season games at the NHL level, tallying six goals and six helpers. If another NHL club doesn't pick him up, the 25-year-old winger figures to be assigned to AHL Abbotsford -- though he could ask for his outright release to return to the KHL, where he has had significantly more success over his career.

EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov accounted for 27 goals and 58 points in 66 regular-season appearances with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL in 2024-25. The 25-year-old forward will compete for a bottom-six spot with the Canucks during training camp in the fall. Kravtsov signed a two-year deal with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL on Monday, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK television reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov has struggled after being the ninth overall pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He totaled just six goals and 12 points in 64 games with the Rangers and Canucks. Vancouver acquired him from the Rangers for a 2026 draft pick before the 2023 trade deadline. The 23-year-old has 68 points in 167 career KHL contests.

Kravtsov scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov extended Vancouver's lead to 2-0 with a power-play tally in the second period. It was his first goal and just his second point in 14 games since joining the Canucks. The 23-year-old winger has demonstrated scoring potential early in his NHL career, though he'll have to start scoring at a higher rate to earn a long-term role in Vancouver. Kravtsov is up to four goals and eight points in 42 games between the Canucks and Rangers.

Kravtsov has been held pointless in his past 11 contests.
EDGE Analysis
Being traded to the Canucks created some excitement that a fresh start would help Kravtsov. So far that hasn't been the case. He's receiving less ice time than he did with the Rangers, going from 11:25 to 10:46. He has just one point in 13 games with Vancouver.

Kravtsov registered a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
This was Kravtsov's second game as a Canuck following his trade from the Rangers on Saturday. The 23-year-old set up Brock Boeser's goal in the first period. Kravtsov has a chance to establish himself in a bottom-six role while also seeing time on the Canucks' second power-play unit. Through 30 outings this season, he has seven points, 29 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-6 rating.

Kravtsov was acquired by Vancouver from the Rangers on Saturday in exchange for William Lockwood and a 2026 seventh-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
Kravtsov was selected by the Rangers with the No. 9 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, but he was unable to establish himself as a top-six forward in New York. He had three goals and six points in 28 games while averaging 11:25 of ice time with the Rangers this season. The move to Vancouver is an opportunity for Kravtsov to get a fresh start and potentially play a bigger role.
