Anaheim goaltender Victor Fasth was pulled in the Ducks' streak-ending 5-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Friday for Jonas Hiller, marking only the second time the team has changed goalies during a game.
"I wish I could have played better today and given the team a chance to win," Fasth said. "I don't think I did that and we ended up with a loss. We know they're a team that likes to pass the puck a lot. Even though we knew that, we let them do it. We weren't good enough today."

Viktor Fasth was lit up in Friday night's 5-1 loss to Detroit, allowing three goals on 11 shots before being replaced by Jonas Hiller early in the second period.
Fasth's second regulation loss of the season marks the fourth time in his past six games he's allowed three goals or more. To put his hot start into perspective, he allowed more than three goals just once in his first nine games of the year.

Viktor Fasth will start for Anaheim against Detroit Friday night.
Fasth and Jonas Hiller have gotten back to rotating starts again after Hiller played four straight games from March 10-16. The 30-year-old 'rookie' has compiled an 11-1-1 record with a .927 save percentage, a 2.00 GAA and two shutouts.

Viktor Fasth stopped 32 shots in a 5-3 win over San Jose Monday.
Fasth has been one of the best stories of the season as the 30-year-old first year player came over from Sweden and has been a stellar performer in goal for Anaheim. He is now 11-1-1 this season with a 2.00 GAA and a .927 save percentage, both good enough for fifth overall among goalies. He is a must-start when he plays although he now splits the goaltending duties with Jonas Hiller.

Viktor Fasth, who has been nursing an upper-body injury, took shots at practice on Thursday and seems to be nearing a return to action.
In fact, he could be ready to dress Saturday against the Blues. "It's good to be back on the ice out there," said Fasth, who should be ready Saturday in St. Louis. "Except for not stopping any pucks, I felt pretty good." ... Jonas Hiller has re-established himself as the Ducks' starter but Fasth is one of the NHL's best backups and should be added to rosters this weekend.

Viktor Fasth suffered an upper-body injury Tuesday morning and won't start tonight against the Minnesota Wild.
Fasth was the first goalie off the ice at today's morning skate, which is usually a sign who will start in that night's game. Jonas Hiller will instead get the call and Jeff Deslauriers has been recalled from the ECHL to serve as Hiller's backup.

Viktor Fasth is expected to get the start in goal Tuesday night.
Fasth has been one of the biggest surprises in the league this year. On the season, the 30-year-old netminder is 10-1-1 with a .929 save percentage and 1.92 GAA. Unfortunately, he remains locked in a competition for starts with Jonas Hiller and that is unlikely change anytime soon barring injury.

Viktor Fasth will get the nod for the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.
Fasth will attempt to bounce back after being on the wrong end of a 5-4 shootout loss last week. He allowed four goals on 37 regulation time shots in that contest.

Viktor Fasth kicked out 33 of 37 shots in regulation in a 5-4 shootout loss Saturday.
After starting his career with an 8-0-0 record, Fasth has now lost two of his last three starts. Fasth has been a great addition to those quickest to the draw in fantasy leagues, but he will have to actively compete for playing time with Jonas Hiller unless Hiller is once again forced to the sidelines by an injury.
