Tyler Toffoli netted two goals in Manchester's 3-2 win over St. John's on Friday night. Toffoli was taken in the second round of the 2010 draft and is playing in his first full AHL season. Nobody could expect a 100-point season like he had in the OHL, but with 16 goals and 25 points in 33 games, the 21-year-old is enjoying a pretty fine campaign against better competition.

Tyler Toffoli had a hat trick in the Manchester Monarchs' 5-3 victory over the Portland Pirates on Saturday. Toffoli has already earned two hat tricks this season. He has 13 goals and 22 points in 28 games, which makes him one of the top AHL rookie forwards so far in 2012-13. The Kings took him in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Tyler Toffoli had a goal, but Manchester came up short in its 5-4 loss to Springfield on Friday night. Toffoli is considered one of the Kings' best prospects. The winger is blessed with great finishing skills, though he's not the best skater and his defensive game needs a little more work. Still, he's 20 years old and has plenty of time to improve in that area. Toffoli has 10 goals and 14 points in 18 games. Slava Voynov also had an assist in the loss.

Tyler Toffoli had a goal and an assist in the Manchester Monarchs' 4-3 shootout win against the Springfield Falcons. Toffoli has four goals and five points in his last two AHL contests. He's adjusting to life in the AHL after reaching the 100-point mark in back-to-back OHL seasons.

Tyler Toffoli found the back of the net three times for Manchester in a 5-1 win over Portalnd in AHL action Tuesday. Toffoli tallied 52 times in 65 OHL contests last season so he's certainly no stranger to scoring goals. The former Ottawa 67 has registered seven markers in 15 games thus far in his first professional season.

Tyler Toffoli will be looking to make a smooth transition to the AHL after two stunning OHL campaigns. Toffoli had 52 goals and 100 points in 65 games with the Ottawa 67's last season. He enjoyed a brief stint with the AHL Manchester Monarchs in 2011-12, but this is projected to be his first full season with the club. "Based on what I saw this summer in development camp, he has come a long way," Monarchs coach Mark Morris said. "He was more sure of himself on his skates. He was stronger on the puck. He's obviously done a lot of work to get himself ready for this next step. He's a guy who just has a knack for being around the puck and making intelligent plays. His hockey IQ is very high. Regardless of who he plays with, he's going to make the others into better hockey players. He sees the ice very well, and he has that innate sense to know how to create and score. The rest of his game will follow suit when he gets a taste of hockey in the American league." It might help that there will be quite a few NHL-caliber players in the AHL during the lockout.

Tyler Toffoli will join the Los Angeles Kings to observe the remainder of their playoff run. Toffoli had 52 goals and 100 points in 65 OHL contests with the Ottawa 67's. We've seen some players with little to no NHL experience step into the 2012 playoffs and hold their own, so we can't completely rule out the possibility of Toffoli getting some ice time.

Kings prospect Tyler Toffoli leads the OHL in goals this season with 36. Toffoli was drafted in the second round, 47th overall in the 2010 Entry Draft and then led the OHL in goals and points last season with 57 and 108 respectively and is doing the same again this year as he has 74 points. He has a great shot and his offensive skills are something the Kings are in dire need of this season. He will likely start next season in the minors to give him some experience in the pro game but with his knack for goal scoring, he should be a top six forward with Los Angeles fairly early in his career.

Tyler Toffoli scored a goal and registered an assist in the Kings' 3-2 preseason victory against the Phoenix Coyotes. Toffoli isn't expected to make the team, but he could eventually become a top-six forward at the NHL level. Ethan Moreau scored a mere 1:19 minutes into the game while Dustin Penner netted the game-winning goal with just 49 seconds remaining in regulation time. Keith Yandle and Shane Doan accounted for the two Coyotes' goals.
