He'll likely miss Thursday's game against the Sharks if he fails to take part in morning skate, potentially forcing Vladislav Namestnikov to fill Johnson's spot as Tampa's second-line center.

Johnson suffered an injury in the third period of the Bolts' match up with the Blackhawks that was significant enough to send him to the locker room, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Johnson suffered the injury after taking a cross-check from Blackhawks' defender Brent Seabrook in the third period of Tuesday night's contest. The severity of the injury, as well as whether or not Johnson will return to the game, is unknown at this point in time.
