Tyler Eckford signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Ottawa Senators. Eckford had 25 points and 37 penalty minutes in 75 games with the AHL Portland Pirates in 2011-12. He might be called up at some point as an injury replacement, but he's expected to spend the vast majority of his time in the minors.

The Phoenix Coyotes have inked Tyler Eckford to a one-year, two-way contract. Eckford had two goals and 12 points in 37 games with AHL Albany last season. He also has on assist in seven career NHL contests. He's not expected to have any fantasy value next season.
