Rask stopped 27 of 30 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old didn't get the benefit of another offensive explosion by the Bruins, leading him to his fourth loss of the postseason. Rask now has a .906 save percentage in this year's playoffs, well below the standard he set during the regular season, and he may need to find another gear if Boston is going to advance to the conference finals.

With no lineup changes for the Bruins on tap, per coach Bruce Cassidy, Rask is slated to start Monday night's game against the Lightning, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask was given a maintenance day Sunday, but he remains entrenched as the Bruins' starting goalie for the team's playoff run. Rask rebounded from a rocky Game 7 effort in last Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs, to make 34 saves in Saturday's 6-2 triumph over Tampa Bay in Game 1 of the team's second-round series. He'll need to remain sharp Monday night, with the Lightning's powerful offense likely to come at him in waves in Game 2.

Rask made 34 saves for Boston in a 6-3 victory over Tampa Bay in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Rask was completely dialled in Saturday. He still carries the risk that comes with his mediocre Stanley Cup record, but on Saturday Rask looked every part the stud he was in the regular season. And the one Boston needs to win 16 games this postseason.

Rask is slated to square off against Andrei Vasilevskiy on the road Saturday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rask had his ups and downs while starting all seven games in the Bruins' first-round triumph over the Maple Leafs. In the process, he allowed 19 goals, en route to logging a 2.94 GAA and .899 save percentage. The Bruins won three of their four regular-season outings against the Lightning this past season -- all started by Rask -- but he'll need to be sharp in order to continue to thwart Tampa Bay's potent offense, which racked up a league-high 3.54 goals per game in 2017-18. When the 6-foot-3, 176-pounder is on, he coolly brings sound positioning and quick reflexes to the table, but he can get off his game when defensive break-downs in front of him pile up. In any case, Rask is entrenched as the Bruins' starter for the duration of the team's playoff run, with Anton Khudobin on hand to back him up.

Rask only made 20 saves on 24 shots, but he still picked up the 7-4 win in Wednesday's Game 7 against the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
In this must-win game Rask was not up to the task, but fortunately for him his teammates bailed him out. This wasn't a great series for the Finnish netminder, as before this game he had a 2.74 GAA and .909 save percentage. Now he has to prepare for a Lightning team that scored a league-high 3.54 goals per game.

Rask is in line to square off against Frederik Andersen in Wednesday night's Game 7 of the Bruins' playoff series against the Maple Leafs, NHL.com's Amalie Benjamin reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bruins, who had been up 3-1 in the series, will now look to close things out in Boston on Wednesday. Working in Rask's favor is that during the regular season, the Bruins recorded a 28-8-5 record at the TD Garden. In six playoff games thus far, Rask has logged a 2.74 GAA and .909 save percentage, while Andersen has turned in marks of 3.30 and .909 overall, but has been outstanding in each of Toronto's three series wins.

EDGE Analysis
After a disastrous showing in Game 5, Rask put together a much better performance in this one, but it wasn't enough to send the Bruins through to the second round. The 31-year-old netminder will take a .909 save percentage into Wednesday's Game 7 back in Boston.

EDGE Analysis
Rask was yanked in Game 5 after yielding four goals on 13 shots and allowing the Maple Leafs to cut the series deficit to 3-2 bring the it back to Toronto. Before Saturday's dud, the 30-year-old backstop compiled a .926 save percentage and 2.27 GAA in the first four games, so it's no surprise that the Bruins will put their confidence back in Rask.

Rask allowed four goals on 13 shots in about 32 minutes before getting pulled in a 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. But the Bruins still lead the series 3-2.
EDGE Analysis
The former Vezina Trophy winner wasn't sharp in this one, yielding two goals in both the first and second periods. The Bruins scored early in the second to pulled within a goal, but the Maple Leafs responded with the next two scores. The Bruins offense may be humming, but Rask has been a bit inconsistent in the first round. He has allowed at least three goals in three of the five games and owns a .904 save percentage versus the Maple Leafs.

Rask is slated to start Saturday night's playoff game against Toronto, Eric Russo of the Bruins' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Bruins up 3-1 in their first-round series against the Maple Leafs, the team will look to close things out with a triumph at home Saturday. Rask will thus look to build off a stellar effort in Thursday's 3-1 win in Toronto, while his teammates will seek to recapture they form that led to them outscoring the Leafs by a 12-4 margin in two games played in Boston to open the series.
