Travis Moen scored his first goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over Tampa Bay. He also picked up a fighting major of the year when he battled with B.J. Crombeen. Colby Armstrong earned an assist on Moen's marker to get his first point as a member of the Canadiens. The production came after coach Michel Therrien spoke with his fourth-liners about getting more involved in the team's offensive attack.

Travis Moen and his family are spending some time at Carey Price's residence as they search for a house in the Montreal area. Moen lives in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, during the summer, and he typically rents during the season. Now, though, he has a new four-year contract with the Habs, so he's looking to purchase and Price and his fianc‚e have been nice enough to host Moen, his wife and their two young kids for the time being. It also allows Moen to work out with a number of his teammates during the lockout. "Carey's pretty laid back and my wife's a pretty good cook, so it seems to be working out," Moen said, laughing. "He's a great guy for allowing us to bunk in with him for a bit and he's got two dogs that my little guy loves. It's been a lot of fun."

Travis Moen inks a four-year/$7.4 million contract extension with the Montreal Canadiens. Moen had nine goals and 16 points in 48 games in 2011-12. He's more of a defensive forward and consequently doesn't have much fantasy value in standard leagues.

Travis Moen has been upgraded to day-to-day, but it's unclear if he will be able to return on Wednesday. "I want to get back there and if the doctors say I'm ready, I'll be there," Moen said after practicing on Monday. "I'm feeling good and I miss playing." He hasn't played since Feb. 9 because of an upper-body injury.

Coach Randy Cunneyworth provided a breif update on Travis Moen's status from an upper-body injury on Monday. He said that he winger is projected to be out for a little while longer. Moen hasn't played since Feb. 9 and his health could impact his trade value going into next Monday's NHL trade deadline.

Travis Moen isn't expected to play on Saturday because of an upper body injury. Moen has 16 points and 41 penalty minutes in 48 games this season. It's worth noting that Moen returned on Tuesday from an upper body injury after a five game absence.

Travis Moen returned from his upper-body injury on Tuesday night against Pittsburgh. He played alongside Tomas Plekanec and Mathieu Darche on a shutdown line opposite the league's leading scorer in Evgeni Malkin, but he finished the contest with just over 14 minutes of ice time. Moen was playing in his first game since Jan. 21.

Travis Moen returned to action on Tuesday February 7.
