Moen suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's loss to the Jets and is questionable for Saturday's game versus the Devils, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports. Moen was absent from Wednesday's practice and is being labeled as day-to-day. He should benefit from the three days off before the Stars' next game, but his potential unavailability could prompt the team to recall a forward from the minors.

Moen was traded to the Stars on Tuesday in exchange for defenseman Sergei Gonchar. The 32-year-old Moen appeared in 10 games for the Habs in a checking-line role, failing to score a single point. He probably won't unleash much more offensive with the move to Dallas, but he'll at least give the Stars a needed physical presence defensively at even strength and on the penalty kill.

Moen is in danger of losing his spot on the roster, the Montreal Gazette reports. Moen skated on the fifth line during practice Tuesday, so it's looking like he's headed for a reserve forward role if he makes the team. And the Habs may decide to go with a cheaper option, like Michael Bournival, for a guy that might be a healthy scratch most nights.

With Brandon Prust's suspension, Travis Moen may draw back into the Canadiens' lineup for Game 4 against the Rangers. Moen brings a Prust-type grittiness to his game and Habs' coach Michel Therrien might prefer to keep that balance in his lineup rather than dress a Michael Bournival, who is more of a speed guy.

Travis Moen skated on the fourth line, with Daniel Briere and Dale Weise, at practice on Sunday and appears to be set to return from a concussion. He was injured in a fight with Boston defenseman Kevan Miller on March 24 and hasn't played since. "I hope I'm in there," said Moen. "I'm playing with two pretty speedy guys and I'll try to dig the puck out for them. And Danny's pretty crafty, so Dale and I will go to the net so he can get the puck to us."

Travis Moen (concussion) was cleared for contact on Monday. He practiced fully with his teammates for the first time, but he needs a few more sessions before he's ready to return to the lineup. Moen suffered a concussion in a fight with Boston's Kevan Miller back on March 24 and he hasn't played since.

Travis Moen practised with his Canadien teammates for the second day in a row Thursday but won't play Friday against Tampa in Game 2. He is still working his way back from a concussion and needs a little more time on ice before he is cleared to play.

Travis Moen (concussion) skated with the Canadiens on Tuesday. Moen was wearing a no-contact jersey though, so we would be surprised if he played in Game 1 on Wednesday. He had 12 points and 49 penalty minutes in 65 games this season.

Travis Moen (concussion) is expected to miss Montreal's next two games. Moen won't travel with the Canadiens to Detroit for Thursday's contest and presumably won't rejoin the team before Saturday's game in Florida. He suffered the concussion on Monday.

Travis Moen sustained a concussion in Monday's game versus Boston. He was injured in a fight with Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller. Moen will miss at least a week due to concussion protocols, but it's unclear when he'll be ready to return to the lineup.
