Defenseman Toni Lydman (shoulder surgery) is on schedule to return to the Ducks' lineup in early October. The Ducks open the season in Finland, and it is unfortunate that Lydman likely won't be ready to play in his home country in front of his family and friends. Lydman was tied for second in the NHL last season behind Zdeno Chara with a plus-32, so he has fantasy value if the category is used in your pool.
