Todd Marchant
C FA
Wed 6/29/11 5:23 PM

Todd Marchant has decided to hang up his skates and retire. The 37-year-old center enjoyed 17 seasons in the NHL and he captured the Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007. Marchant registered 186 goals and 312 assists in 1,195 games with the New York Rangers, Edmonton, Columbus and Anaheim. "I'd like to personally thank Todd for his invaluable contributions to this organization over the last six years," said GM Bob Murray. "His character and presence in our locker room will be missed, but we're extremely grateful that he has agreed to join the front office as director of player development. Congratulations to Todd and his family on a wonderful career." We would also like to wish Marchant the best of luck in his new role in the front office of the Ducks.
