Todd Fedoruk has been clean for nearly 18 months now after being plagued with drug and alcohol addictions. He said his off-ice issues were the reason he was bought out by the Tampa Bay Lightning following the 2009-10 campaign. However, he is in a better state now after not playing at all last year and wants another shot in the NHL. Fedoruk is set to get that chance on a tryout with the Vancouver Canucks at training camp in a couple of weeks.

Todd Fedoruk has agreed to a professional tryout contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Fedoruk had six points and 54 penalty minutes in 50 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2009-10. He should be regarded as a long shot to make the team.
