Enstrom made his return to the score sheet Sunday, recording an assist in a 3-1 loss to Chicago.

The Swedish defenseman snapped a four-game pointless streak when he assisted Chris Thorburn's second-period goal. Enstrom has seen his ice time drop below 20 minutes per game this year despite averaging at least 22 minutes per game every season since 2008-09. More alarming is the fact that his average power play time on ice is only 0:59 in 2015-16. Enstrom hasn't been paired with his usual partner Dustin Byfuglien very often this season, which is likely the reason for this drop in ice time.

Enstrom scored the team's lone goal in Monday's loss to the Avalanche.

EDGE Analysis

The goal was the first of the season for Enstrom, though he has been finding his way onto the scoresheet with five assists in the month. At this point in his career, the 31-year-old is far removed from his 50-point campaigns of five and six years ago, but he should be able to top last season's 23-point output.

Enstrom dished out two helpers in a 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Enstrom's not the flashiest fantasy rearguard (three points and just six SOG in 13 games this year) but it's worth mentioning that he was able to crack 50 points two seasons in a row from 2009-11. The blue line in Winnipeg is crowded with the likes of Dustin Byfuglien, Jacob Trouba and Tyler Myers, but Enstrom has shown in the past that he's capable of producing offensively and, as such, shouldn't be overlooked in deeper leagues.

Enstrom underwent shoulder surgery on Monday, tsn.ca reports. Enstrom, who notched 23 points and 36 PIM in 60 games for the Jets this past season, now has the full offseason to recovery from the procedure and is in line to be ready for training camp this coming September.

Enstrom (upper body) will play in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Flames. After missing the last three games, Enstrom will get a tune-up before the beginning of the playoffs. It's possible he doesn't get his normal allotment of ice time, as the Jets don't have much to play for Saturday afternoon.

Enstrom (upper body) is in line to miss Thursday's game against the Avalanche, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Enstrom was skating next to the suspended Dustin Byfuglien as part of a non-regular pairing during the Jets' morning skate, which is enough evidence to suggest he won't be playing Thursday. The upper-body injury will cost Enstrom a third consecutive game, but his presence on the ice Thursday gives him a shot at playing in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Flames.

Enstrom (upper body) won't play Tuesday against the Blues, Ed Tait of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. While Enstrom will sit out a second straight game, coach Paul Maurice indicated the blueliner is still being viewed as day-to-day. Enstrom is expected to resume skating Wednesday, after which the Jets might have a better gauge on if he'll be able to play in either or both of the team's remaining two regular-season contests.

Enstrom (upper body) remains day-to-day. "(He's) where he was yesterday," coach Paul Maurice noted of Enstrom on Monday. "We'll monitor him day by day here, and as soon as he feels strong enough we'll get him back on the ice in practice and see how he feels." With Enstrom out, Ben Chiarot is slated to re-join the Jets' lineup Monday against the Wild.

If Enstrom can't play in Monday's game against the Wild, he'll likely be replaced in the lineup by Ben Chiarot (hand), who was activated Sunday from injured reserve. Monday's game is a must-win for the Jets, so Enstrom will surely do everything in his power to get back on the ice.
