Thomas Heemskerk has been returned to the minors. He practiced with San Jose on Friday after being brought up from the minors, but he won't get the opportunity to suit up in Saturday's game versus the St. Louis Blues.

Thomas Heemskerk has been called up by the San Jose Sharks. Heemskerk has a 3.16 GAA and .904 save percentage in 34 ECHL games. Thomas Greiss is out with a neck injury, so Heemskerk will probably warm the bench on Saturday.

Thomas Heemskerk has been cut from the San Jose Sharks training camp roster. Heemskerk had a 2.94 GAA and .908 save percentage in 65 WHL games last season with the Moose Jaw Warriors. He'll compete for a spot with AHL Worcester.
