Skinner stopped 21 of 23 shots in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
After going 1-2-0 with nine goals allowed and a shutout win during the Oilers' four-game road trip, Skinner was solid on home ice. He also got plenty of help, with the Oilers scoring the last six goals of the game. The 25-year-old has turned things around with five wins in his last seven outings, improving to 6-7-1 on the year with a 3.28 GAA and an .877 save percentage through 15 appearances. Edmonton's next game is Tuesday at home versus the Golden Knights in what figures to be a challenging matchup in a rematch of last year's second-round playoff series.

Skinner will get the starting nod at home against the Ducks, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner is coming off his first shutout of the year, stopping all 25 shots in Friday's win over Washington. In his previous two outings, he was tagged with nine goals on just 35 shots. For the season, he's gone 5-7-1 with a lackluster 3.37 GAA and .875 save percentage across 14 appearances.

Skinner made 25 saves in a 5-0 win over the Capitals on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a great rebound for Skinner, who was pulled in the first period of a 6-3 loss to the Canes on Wednesday, when he gave up four goals on just 12 shots. Skinner's overall numbers are awful, but this effort showed a glimpse of the guy who was, at times, one of the NHL's best rookies last season. Keep an eye on him. He could serve you well from this point forward.

Skinner will patrol the visiting blue paint versus Washington on Friday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has struggled all season and was pulled at the 14:48 mark of the first period Wednesday in Carolina, after giving up four goals on 12 shots. Skinner is 4-7-1 with a 3.66 GAA and .865 save percentage this season, a huge comedown after going 29-14-5 with a 2.75 GAA and .913 save percentage in 2022-23. The Capitals are tied for 29th in NHL scoring, averaging 2.56 goals per contest.

Skinner allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Calvin Pickard midway through the first period of Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
All four goals came in a six-minute stretch, and three of them came from right on Skinner's doorstep as the Oilers' defense didn't put up much resistance. After a brief three-game win streak in the middle of the month, the 25-year-old netminder has coughed up nine goals on just 35 shots over his last two starts, torpedoing the marginal improvement he'd been making with his ratios. On the season, Skinner has a 3.66 GAA and .865 save percentage through 13 appearances.

Skinner is expected to guard the road crease Wednesday versus Carolina, per Oilers play-by-by announcer Jack Michaels.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner allowed five goals on 23 shots in a 6-4 loss to Tampa Bay in his last start Saturday. He has a 4-6-1 record, 3.39 GAA and .873 save percentage in 12 contests this year. The Hurricanes rank 16th offensively with 3.24 goals per game.

Skinner stopped 18-of-23 shots in a 6-4 loss to the Lightning on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
A win was within reach until the 9:28 mark of the third, when the Bolts sparked to life with two goals in a 39-second span. Skinner faced seven power plays, surrendering two goals, but most of the play was in the other end of the ice. His opponent, Jonas Johansson, faced 43 shots. There will be yelps about Skinner's play and the state of the Edmonton netminding, but this was his first loss in four starts (3-1-0). See if he can shake this off. His new coach is working to inject some spark into the Oilers and that will benefit Skinner going forward.

Skinner is expected to start in Saturday's road game versus Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner has a 4-5-1 record, 3.23 GAA and .880 save percentage in 11 contests this season. While those overall numbers leave plenty to be desired, the 25-year-old has turned a corner recently, winning his last three starts while saving 81 of 86 shots (.942 save percentage) in that span. He'll try to extend that run against Tampa Bay, which ranks 12th offensively with 3.35 goals per game.

Skinner made 32 saves in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kraken.
EDGE Analysis
The Oilers were down 3-1 heading into the third period, but Skinner and the defense both tightened up over the final 20-plus minutes as Evander Kane erupted for a natural hat trick. Skinner has won three straight starts while giving up only five goals on 86 shots during that stretch, and the demotion of Jack Campbell appears to have given the 25-year-old netminder a boost of confidence. Even so, Skinner's 3.23 GAA and .880 save percentage on the season still need a lot of work.

Skinner is expected to start at home versus Seattle on Wednesday, per Oilers play-by-by announcer Jack Michaels.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner will be going for his third straight victory after saving 49 of 51 shots (.961 save percentage) over his last two outings. His recent performance has been in stark contrast to his early season struggles -- Skinner had a 1-5-1 record, 3.87 GAA and .854 save percentage over his first eight outings. Seattle is 5-8-3 and ranks 29th offensively with 2.50 goals per game, so this is a good opportunity for the 25-year-old goaltender to potentially extend his winning streak.
