Percy was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Saturday, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.
Percy stuck around for just one game during his stint with the Maple Leafs this time around, serving as a healthy scratch in Friday's road match with the Blue Jackets. He'll be replaced on the roster by Sam Carrick, who was recalled from the AHL squad to bolster the Leafs' depth at forward.

Percy was recalled from AHL Toronto on Thursday, James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail reports.
With the Leafs headed to Columbus for a game Friday, it looks to be the case where the team didn't want to be stuck with only six defensemen while away on the road. Percy could appear in a game or two while he remains with the Maple Leafs, but his stint with the parent club isn't expected to last for very long.

The Leafs assigned Percy to AHL Toronto, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
The 21-year-old defenseman had a nice start to his NHL career, appearing in seven games for Toronto while tallying three assists and seeing some time on the powerplay. Percy could see some more time with the Leafs if they suffer injuries throughout the season, and he could be a solid defenseman for Toronto in the future.

Percy played more than 20 minutes in his NHL debut Wednesday night and picked up a power-play assist.
The kid is super smart and its impressive that he was even out there on the PP in his debut. He chased his own soft dump-in, retrieved the puck and fed Tyler Bozak in the slot. It was an impressive debut. It'll be hard to keep him out of the regular rotation if he keeps this up.

The Leafs will bring Percy back in advance of Wednesday's game against Montreal, as Tuesday's transaction was made with the league's salary cap rules in mind. With Cody Franson unavailable for the season opener, Percy is expected to join Roman Polak on the third pairing for his NHL debut. Percy tallied four goals and 21 assists over 71 games in the minors last season.

"Stuart really took his game to another level," Leafs GM Dave Nonis said. "He played well with the puck, but more importantly, he played well in his own end." Percy, who was the 25th overall pick in the 2011 draft, will probably begin his professional career in the AHL this season.

Stuart Percy continued his strong start to the season with a goal and an assist in Mississauga's 4-1 triumph over Peterborough on Friday night.
The 19-year-old defenseman was taken 25th overall in the 2011 draft by the Leafs. After putting up 25 points in 34 games last year, he has 10 in 15 games in this campaign. He's been a solid point-producer in his OHL career, but scouts don't rave about that aspect of his game, they laud his calmness on the ice and how advanced he is for his age.
