Lorentz is unlikely to be put in a position to post significant offense, so he's mostly a non-factor in fantasy.

Lorentz drew into 67 games with Carolina last season, picking up eight goals and 13 points while averaging 10:53 of ice time per contest. The 26-year-old forward will likely put up similar numbers while skating in a bottom-six role with San Jose in 2022-23.

Not exactly an offensive dynamo, the 26-year-old Ontario native figures to slot into a bottom-six role but could push for an increased role on the rebuilding Sharks.

Not bad for a bottom-six guy who is averaging just 11:05 in ice time this season, although his TOI has seen a positive bump lately, averaging 14:14 in his last five games. The Canes are a very deep team this year, and they're currenty getting offensive contributions from up and down the lineup. In Lorentz's case, he had just eight points in 45 games last season, and he's already surpassed that mark in just 33 points this year (6G, 3A). His future looks pretty bright in Raleigh right now.
