Regular offense isn't a part of Benoit's playing style -- the 24-year-old is a physical presence in a bottom-four role for the Ducks. The 23-year-old defender may have a slightly bigger role with the Ducks in 2022-23, but he almost certainly won't produce enough offense to be a useful fantasy option.

The 23-year-old defenseman figures to play regularly after Hampus Lindholm was dealt to the Bruins prior to Monday's trade deadline, but Benoit's physicality and limited offense won't help most fantasy managers. He has four points and 137 hits through 43 outings.

This was Benoit's second assist in his last six games, though he's hardly a regular contributor on offense. Benoit, Greg Pateryn and Josh Mahura figure to continue rotating in and out of the lineup going forward.

He's unlikely to be much of a factor on offense, and he'll have to compete with Josh Mahura for playing time going forward.
