Aho recorded a goal, an assist, five shots on net and three hits in Monday's 3-2 overtime win versus the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Down 2-0 late in the second period, Aho won a faceoff back to Teuvo Teravainen who cut the deficit in half. Michael Ferland later tied the game and sent it to overtime, where Aho beat Cam Ward five hole for the game winner. Aho now has five goals and 22 points in 18 games.

Aho snapped a three-game point drought with an assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Previously, Aho was off to a great start this season with a 12-game consecutive point streak (4 goals, 13 assists), so it's nice to see him get back on the scoresheet. Given his current pace, Aho should have no problem cracking the 60-point barrier for the second straight season. For now, he will continue to center the Canes' top line in between Micheal Ferland and rookie Andrei Svechnikov.

Aho recorded an assist Sunday in a 2-1 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
The Hurricanes' forward has registered a point in every game this season and now has 16 in 2018-19. Keep him in your lineups, as this roll on the part of Aho is one of the more impressive starts to a season that we've seen in recent memory.

Aho recorded an assist in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche, extending his consecutive points streak to eight games.
EDGE Analysis
There were concerns at the start of the season regarding Aho's transition from the wing to center, but those can clearly be laid to rest now. With at least one point in every game so far this season, Aho is proving to be one of the most consistent scorers in the NHL. He is currently tied for third in league scoring with 13 points in eight games, and should be a permanent fixture in all fantasy lineups.

Aho had a helper in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Aho became the sixth player in the history of the Hurricanes or Whalers franchises to start a campaign with a six-game point streak. The 21-year-old forward has 11 points (four goals, seven assists) throughout that time frame, and will look to extend his streak to seven games Tuesday against Tampa Bay.

Aho had a huge game Saturday, scoring two goals including the winner in overtime and adding two assists in a 5-4 victory over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Perhaps even more impressively, Aho has points in every game this season. His streak stands at five games and 10 points (four goals, six assists), with a plus-7 rating. Aho potted 49 points as a rookie and 65 as a sophomore. His third season really could be the great leap forward.

Aho scored a goal and an assist while adding two shots, two PIM and a plus-1 rating in Friday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
The Canes' second line took over the contest after the first period, as Aho and Micheal Ferland each set up the other for tallies in the second and third, with Aho's being the game-winner. The 21-year-old is off to a quick start to the campaign with three points in two games, as he looks to build on last season's 65-point performance.

Aho tallied one goal in Carolina's 5-4 overtime loss to the Predators on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a 29-goal, 65-point sophomore campaign, the Finnish-born forward is undoubtedly the Hurricanes' top offensive weapon. Playing only his second NHL season, Aho led his team in scoring. Last year, he posted a shooting percentage of 14.5, qualifying him as an elite finisher. With three preseason goals, the young, dynamic forward appears poised for another breakout season in 2018-19.

Aho has been centering a line with rookies Valentin Zykov and Andrei Svechnikov during the preseason with mixed results, according to the Raleigh News & Observer. "I haven't really liked what he's doing in the two games," coach Rod Brind'Amour said. "I think we'll run it through the preseason and then we'll kind of make an assessment."
EDGE Analysis
The experimentation with Aho at center has apparently not gone well thus far for the Canes, who are a surprising 3-0 so far in preseason play. Aho has been deployed predominantly at left wing over the past two seasons, however the recent loss of Victor Rask (out indefinitely with a finger injury), has left the team scrambling to fill the No. 2 center slot behind Jordan Staal. Aho led the Canes last year with 65 points, so it seems doubtful the team would handcuff their top scorer by slotting him into a position where he wasn't completely comfortable. We expect Aho will eventually be shifted back to his natural LW position, making him a good bet to record another 60-plus point season for the Canes.

Aho and the Hurricanes will try to reach an extension before the season begins, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Hurricanes season opener is Oct. 4 against the Islanders, so the goal is to have him signed by then. Aho is set to become a restricted free agent after the 2018-19 campaign. The 21-year-old worthy of a substantial payday, too, after scoring 53 goals and 114 points over his first two seasons in the league.
