Ryan O'Reilly scored two goals and had one assist as the Avalanche won the Kings 4-3. Andre Benoit and Steve Downie also scored for the Avalanche while Matt Duchene had a great night posting three assists. Expect a 20 goal, 60 point effort from O'Reilly in 2013-14. He will have more value once he gets left wing eligibility from your fantasy pool as there are plenty of good centers but not a lot of quality left wingers.

What happened happened, but I'm just glad it's behind me. I just want to win with the Avalanche. Last year, on top of things, there was the lockout and that made everything tougher for everybody. "I thought it felt good for the most part at the start, and then it kind of took a dip and now I can't seem to find the net right now," O'Reilly said. "Obviously, we've needed some goals and then I get a goal lapse. I had a job to step into and didn't do it. It's disappointing. I'm supposed to do the job, and I didn't do the job." Our feelings on O'Reilly haven't changed significantly from what they were before the year. He's a useful player in medium to deep leagues, but far from a fantasy superstar.
