Graves has received a qualifying offer from the Avalanche, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Graves was solid in limited action with Colorado this season, notching five points while posting a plus-4 rating in 26 games, and will likely have an expanded role in 2019-20.

Graves had two hits, three blocks and two PIM in a 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He skated 12:15 in the contest. Since his recall on Feb. 8, Graves has picked up a goal, two assists, 13 hits and 26 blocks in 11 games. The 23-year-old isn't yet a consistent contributor on both ends of the ice, but his constant presence in the lineup suggests he has the trust of coach Jared Bednar as a defense-first blueliner.

The Avalanche recalled Graves from AHL Colorado on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Graves has been a solid stay-at-home defender for AHL Colorado this campaign, notching nine points while posting a plus-4 rating in 32 appearances. The 2013 fourth-round pick's next opportunity to crack the big club's lineup will arrive Saturday against the Islanders.

Graves was sent down to the minors Thursday, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Graves was a healthy scratch in three of the Avs' previous four contests. As a result, the club will look to get the blueliner some play time during the All-Star break. The health of Erik Johnson (concussion) will likely determine whether Graves is called back up ahead of the team's next matchup with Vancouver on Feb. 2.

Graves was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Both Graves and forward Tyson Jost were reassigned to the Eagles. The minor-league club will battle Bakersfield on Friday, whereas the Avs have two full days off before playing host to the Kings, so it wouldn't be surprising if at least one of the aforementioned players ends up skipping right back to the top level.

Graves was promoted from AHL Colorado on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The move to promote Graves doesn't bode well for Nikita Zadorov's (lower body) availability for Thursday's matchup with Vegas, although it could be just a precautionary move to get some added defensive depth. If the 23-year-old Graves does suit up for the Avs, it would mark his NHL debut after having spent the past five seasons in the minors.

Graves was waived by the Avalanche on Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Graves garnered a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Avalanche in July. He pitched in six points over 21 games with AHL San Antonio in 2017-18, albeit with a minus-5 rating. The Nova Scotian will need to tighten up his own-zone play in order to get a serious look at the top level.

Graves signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Avalanche on Monday, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Graves spent 51 games with AHL Hartford -- the Rangers' affiliate -- before being traded to Colorado and finishing the season with 21 games for AHL San Antonio. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound enforcer notched five goals and 12 helpers in those games while accruing 73 PIM and a minus-20 rating. The Avalanche are set on the blue line after the addition of Ian Cole, so Graves will remain in the minors for another season.

Graves was traded from the Rangers in exchange for Chris Bigras on Monday, Jon Lane of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Graves was moved in the midst of a 2017-18 season that's left something to be desired after posting eight goals and 30 points in 2016-17. The 6-foot-5, 216-pound blueliner has just four goals and 11 points through 57 games this campaign, but at just 22 years of age, he still has the potential to become an NHL regular at some point in his career.
