The Blue Jackets acquired Dzingel and a seventh-round draft pick in 2019 from Ottawa in exchange for Anthony Duclair, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel will join Matt Duchene in Columbus, as the Senators, for the second time in as many days, completed a transaction with the Blue Jackets. The 26-year-old Dzingel should slot into a top-six role with his new team, potentially playing as soon as Sunday against Calgary. If Dzingel needs more time, Columbus' next game after that comes Tuesday in Washington. The winger is an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season and has 44 points -- a career high -- in 57 games in 2018-19.

Dzingel (coach's decision) won't play Thursday against the Devils, Gord Wilson of TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Matt Duchene, Mark Stone and Ryan Dzingel will all take Thursday's contest in from the press box, as they're all expected to be moved prior to Monday's trade deadline, so there's no reason for the Senators to risk their health in a meaningless contest. If Dzingel is still with Ottawa, he'll almost certainly sit out Friday's clash with Columbus and Sunday's matchup with Calgary as well, but we'll circle back if anything changes on that front.

Dzingel scored the game-winner in overtime to lift the Senators to a 4-3 victory over the Jets on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He also added an assist. Dzingel has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in his last 14 games. He has already established a new career high in points with 43 and could hit the 60-point plateau this season. There's real value in that tally, as long as you can stomach Dzingel's depressed plus-minus. His minus-13 can be a significant drag on your roster.

Dizngel scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was No. 20 on the year for the 26-year-old, leaving Dzingel three goals and three points shy of tying the career highs he established in both categories last season. While his overall production has been solid, he's been a lot more than that lately -- the winger has seven goals and 13 points in his last 11 games, offering some hope of a breakout second half.

Dzingel scored his team's third goal to essentially salt away a 5-2 victory over Colorado on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel continues to make the most of the chance he's received in Ottawa's young lineup, scoring for the seventh time in eight games. Since Dec. 31, Dzingel has 10 points and six goals, so make sure he's active during this hot streak.

Dzingel scored in the third period Saturday, but that was all his team got in a 4-1 loss to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel has scored in six of his past seven contests and has been a steady contributor all season. He's averaging three points in every four games for the year, and given the Senators' penchant to usually play high-scoring games, he's a good option in all formats.

Dzingel potted a pair of goals in Monday's 6-3 loss to Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel registered his first multi-goal performance since Oct. 8, giving him 15 on the year. The Illinois native is on pace for a career-high 56 points through the first half of the season.

Dzingel (undisclosed) will play in Monday's game against Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel suffered a minor injury in practice Monday but luckily it was nothing too serious. The 26-year-old has 12 goals and 23 points this season and is on pace to set new career highs for both of those categories.

Dzingel was injured during Monday's game-day status and is in doubt against Nashville, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Matt Duchene (lower body) still sidelined, the Sens figure to dress seven defensemen if Dzingel is unable to give it a go. The 26-year-old has already racked up 23 points in 32 games this season and could challenge for his career-high 41 recorded last season -- assuming his potential absence isn't anything serious.

Dzingel posted two assists in Friday's 4-2 road win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel was a distributor on Chris Tierney's game-opening tally as well as his empty-net dagger with 18 seconds remaining in the contest. The former has increased his point-per-game average every year since his 30-game sample of the NHL in the 2015-16 campaign, with Dzingel currently up to 12 goals and just as many helpers this season.
