Dzingel lit the lamp with four seconds left in the first period to give the Hurricanes a commanding 3-0 lead. The power-play goal was his sixth tally of the season but just his third since the start of October. The first-year Hurricane has 18 points in 31 games. He was a two-time 20-goal player with Ottawa but has some work to do if he's going to reach that plateau in 2019-20.

Dzingel scored his 17th point of the season with an assist in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Wild.

Coming off a career 56-point season with the Sens and Blue Jackets last year, the Canes thought they were getting a solid top-six player when they signed Dzingel as a free agent during the offseason. However, he's currently playing on the team's third line and has just four points in his last 12 games. He could still crack the 50-point mark this season, but he's going to have to pick up the pace in order to get it done. You shouldn't be relying on his as an everyday fantasy option at this point.

Having scored 20-plus goals in each of the previous two seasons with Ottawa and Columbus, Dzingel has been a nice addition for the Canes this season, giving them a legitimate scoring threat from the third line. He's not seeing quite the level of ice time he was used to last season (15:12 vs. 16:49), but he's seeing more minutes on the power play (2:47 vs. 1:56). Dzingel would make a nice addition to your fantasy squad if he's available -- go check your waiver wire.
