Dzingel scored a power-play goal on five shots in Tuesday's 6-3 victory over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel lit the lamp with four seconds left in the first period to give the Hurricanes a commanding 3-0 lead. The power-play goal was his sixth tally of the season but just his third since the start of October. The first-year Hurricane has 18 points in 31 games. He was a two-time 20-goal player with Ottawa but has some work to do if he's going to reach that plateau in 2019-20.

Dzingel scored his 17th point of the season with an assist in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a career 56-point season with the Sens and Blue Jackets last year, the Canes thought they were getting a solid top-six player when they signed Dzingel as a free agent during the offseason. However, he's currently playing on the team's third line and has just four points in his last 12 games. He could still crack the 50-point mark this season, but he's going to have to pick up the pace in order to get it done. You shouldn't be relying on his as an everyday fantasy option at this point.

Dzingel scored a power-play goal on three shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Now with 16 points through 25 games, Dzingel has been a fairly consistent scorer for the Canes this season, and he's been doing it while skating primarily on the team's third line. He makes for a sneaky waiver-wire add in most deeper fantasy formats.

Dzingel registered a goal and an assist in Monday's 8-2 win over Carolina, adding four shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel scored against his former club for his fourth goal of the season and his first since Oct. 24. The assist also gave him his second multi-point game of the year. Dzingel has 13 points after his first 18 games as a Hurricane after tallying a career-high 26 goals and 56 points last season between Ottawa and Columbus.

Dzingel notched his ninth point of the season with an assist in Friday's 7-3 romp over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Having scored 20-plus goals in each of the previous two seasons with Ottawa and Columbus, Dzingel has been a nice addition for the Canes this season, giving them a legitimate scoring threat from the third line. He's not seeing quite the level of ice time he was used to last season (15:12 vs. 16:49), but he's seeing more minutes on the power play (2:47 vs. 1:56). Dzingel would make a nice addition to your fantasy squad if he's available -- go check your waiver wire.

Dzingel posted an assist in a 5-2 loss to the Sharks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel has somewhat quietly managed seven points (two goals, five helpers) in eight games to start the campaign. The 27-year-old winger has added 14 shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in that span.

Dzingel picked up an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Dzingel set up Martin Necas for the second-period tally that would count as the game-winner. In his first season with the Hurricanes, Dzingel has notched six points and 13 shots through seven games.

Dzingel scored two goals, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
He also added three shots, a hit and a plus-1 rating. Dzingel has had a strong start to the season, along with most of the rest of the Carolina roster, potting two goals and two assists through his first four games with half of his production coming with the man advantage.

Dzingel (lower body) is in the projected lineup for Thursday's regular-season opener against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
There was speculation that Dzingel may be facing a long-term absence when he was labeled "more than day-to-day" last Thursday, but his lower-body injury evidently wasn't overly serious after all. The 27-year-old American, who set career highs in goals (26) and assists (30) in 78 games split between the Senators and Blue Jackets last campaign, is expected to skate with Erik Haula and Jordan Martinook on the Hurricanes' third line against the Canadiens.

Dzingel (lower body) is considered "more than day-to-day," Sara Civian of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Carolina's regular-season opener just one week away, it appears that Dzingel may be in danger of missing a handful of contests to start the 2019-20 campaign. The 27-year-old pivot, who racked up 26 goals and 56 points in 78 games split between the Senators and Blue Jackets last season, will undoubtedly be reevaluated ahead of Thursday's Opening Night matchup with Montreal.
