GM Doug Armstrong said Thomas (wrist) will slowly be worked into drills but he should be ready for the season opener versus the Capitals on Oct. 2, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas sat out five of the team's last six playoff games due to his wrist injury and then underwent surgery less than two weeks after hoisting the Stanley Cup. Having Thomas back will add plenty of speed to the Blues' forward corps. He was used throughout the lineup during the 2018-19 season and was one of the team's best players during the playoffs. It's unclear how the Blues will use Thomas once he's fully healthy, but the 20-year-old has a good chance at a top-six role and should easily top the 33 points he posted in his rookie campaign.

Thomas had surgery on his wrist to repair tendon damage, the team announced Monday.
EDGE Analysis
According to the Blues, Thomas will be re-evaluated ahead of training camp, so it appears the center will be ready for Opening Night. The 19-year-old racked up nine goals, 24 assists and 80 shots in his rookie campaign, before adding another six points in 21 postseason contests. If he can avoid the sophomore slump, the Ontario native should be capable of challenging for the 40-point mark next season in a top-six role.

Thomas (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Wednesday's Game 7 against the Bruins, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas returned to the lineup for Game 6 after missing the Blues' previous four contests, but he was clearly still hampered by the undisclosed injury that he's been dealing with for much of the postseason, and only ended up logging 9:21 of ice time while posting a minus-2 rating. The 19-year-old rookie should be back to 100 percent well ahead of next season's training camp, but for now, he can only hope that his teammates will finish the job and win St. Louis' first Stanley Cup in franchise history by stealing Game 7 on the road.

Thomas (undisclosed) will return to the lineup for Sunday's Game 6 against the visiting Bruins, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas has missed the past four games of the series since he was hit hard by Bruins defenseman Torey Krug in Game 1, but will make his return to the lineup. With Ivan Barbashev suspended for Sunday's game, it's likely that the Blues will be content with the same lineup they had for Game 5, and insert Thomas in Barashev's place. It may be risky to roll out the 19-year-old in DFS, considering his recent injury and the fact that he has just six points in 20 postseason contests.

Coach Craig Berube labeled Thomas (undisclosed) a game-time decision for Sunday's Game 6 versus the Bruins, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas skated as the right wing on the third line during Saturday's practice, suggesting he's in a good position to make a return after missing the last four contests of the series. He owns just one goal and six points during 20 postseason contests, so he may not be a huge factor even if available.

Thomas (undisclosed) isn't expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's Game 5 against the Bruins, NHL.com's Louie Korac reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas will miss a fourth straight game Thursday and still hasn't returned to practice, so his chances of rejoining the lineup before the series comes to a close are quickly dwindling. Zachary Sanford will continue to occupy a spot on the Blues' second line while Thomas is on the shelf.

Thomas (undisclosed) won't suit up against the Bruins on Monday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas will miss his third straight game due to his undisclosed injury. With Oskar Sundqvist (suspension) available, Thomas' spot in the lineup will go to Zachary Sanford. Prior to getting hurt, Thomas was bogged down in a 10-game goal drought, having added just three helpers over that stretch. If given the all-clear before the end of the series, the 19-year-old figures to slot back into a bottom-six role for the Blues.

Thomas (undisclosed) is unlikely to suit up for Monday's Game 4 matchup against Boston after practicing in a limited capacity Sunday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas was on the ice for practice but didn't handle the puck or do much else for that matter. Assuming he is out, it would be the third straight game St. Louis is without the rookie forward.

Thomas (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Saturday's Game 3 against the Bruins, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas will miss a second straight contest due to the lingering injury he's been dealing with for most of the postseason. The rookie forward was, however, considered a "possibility" for Game 3, so he can be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's Game 4.

According to coach Craig Berube, Thomas (undisclosed) is a "possibility" for Saturday's Game 3 against the Bruins, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas missed Game 2 due to an undisclosed injury and hasn't been practicing for several weeks, leading most to believe he's likely been dealing with a nagging issue for most of the postseason. Nonetheless, the Blues will be without Oscar Sundqvist (suspension) Saturday, which may encourage them to slot Thomas back into the lineup even though he's clearly not currently playing at 100 percent. Another update on the rookie forward's status should surface prior to puck drop in Boston.
