The 20-year-old plays primarily on St. Louis' third line but is also part of its second power-play unit, finishing Sunday's win with 1:00 of ice time with the man advantage. As long as Thomas remains involved in St. Louis' power-play plans, his fantasy value will be tough to ignore.

Thomas twice linked up with Tyler Bozak to start the Blues' comeback. The 20-year-old also set up Justin Faulk's game-winner. While he won't mix it up much (six PIM, six hits), the solid depth scoring could be worth a look to fantasy owners in deeper season-long formats, as well as DFS while the winger's on a heater.

Though the Blues didn't receive a power play Thursday, Thomas has 1:22 of average power-play time this campaign, adding to his fantasy value going forward.

Playing a more significant role with the Blues since Vladimir Tarasenko suffered a shoulder injury that will keep him out of the lineup for months, Thomas has put up four assists in two games and now has eight points in 18 games. If he's available, the 20-year-old holds solid value at the moment, as long as Tarasenko remains out of St. Louis' lineup.

Thomas earned the lone assist on Oscar Sundqvist's shorthanded goal during Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Lightning.

The recent uptick in points may be enough to keep the 20-year-old in that prime position, but he'll need to continue producing consistently to carry fantasy relevance, as he has just four hits and 14 shots this year.

Thomas has been given top-line opportunities with Vladimir Tarasenko (shoulder) sitting out, and he struggled in the role Sunday with a minus-1 rating and just one shot on goal. Tarasenko has been ruled out for five months now, so Thomas will be in the mix for a full-time role with the top unit. He certainly has the potential to help fill the void. It's not that he has the ability to reach 30 goals like Tarasenko, but Thomas has the speed and vision to work well with Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz. Expect Craig Berube to blend the lines until something sticks, though, so Thomas will need to make the most of his opportunities.
