Rob Schremp registered an assist in Dinamo Riga's 4-2 loss to Avangard Omsk in KHL action Saturday. The former Islander pivot played in Sweden last season but is skating in the KHL for now. It is not clear if he is planning on trying to get an NHL gig once the lockout is over.

It has been confirmed that Rob Schremp has signed with MODO of the Swedish Elite League. As previously reported, Schremp will play there for a one year and look to the NHL in 2012-13. HE is just 25 so his career is far from over.
