The Jackets have never had higher than the third pick, which they traded up for in 2002 to take Rick Nash.

Nash had his best outing since a three-point game on March 3, scoring a goal and an assist while throwing 12 pucks at the net - eight of which became shots on goal. He also had two penalty minutes and managed an even rating in a 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
