The Blue Jackets will find out whether they land the first overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft on Tuesday night. The draft lottery will take place at 8 p.m. EST and Columbus has a 48.2 percent chance of claiming the No. 1 spot. It finished with a league-worst 65 points. "You always want to control the draft," said Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson. "It means a lot. It's not going to be the end of the world if we don't get it. There are good players there; we just have to make sure we get the right one. But it'll be disappointing if we don't get it." The Jackets have never had higher than the third pick, which they traded up for in 2002 to take Rick Nash.
