Rick Nash (concussion) sat out his fourth straight game on Saturday. There has been no word on when Nash will be able to return to the ice so this is not good news for the Rangers and his fantasy owners. He is on the injured reserve list and it could be a while before he returns to action. Reserve him for now and hope he is back sooner rather than later.

Rick Nash (head) has been placed on New York's injured reserve list. He's still experiencing symptoms from what is widely speculated to be a concussion and didn't skate Monday. The Rangers are expected to recall a forward from the minors to help out the team offensively.

Rick Nash (head) didn't skate Monday and coach Alain Vigneault said the Rangers winger is "still feeling symptoms." Nash was at New York's practice facility in the morning, but he he didn't skate or work out.

Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reported that Rick Nash is out with a concussion. While we assumed the head injury suffered by Nash could be a concussion, this means that he could be out longer than a week as you never know how anyone will recover from a concussion. Keep him reserved this week.

Rick Nash (head) has returned to New York. It has been determined that he won't play Thursday or Saturday night. There have been murmurs that he might be out for the next seven to 10 days, but that hasn't been confirmed. Nash will probably have to wait for his headaches to subside before he can resume skating.

Rick Nash (head) will reportedly miss the next seven to 10 days. He received a hit to the head on Tuesday night against San Jose and Brad Stuart received a three-game suspension for the play. Nash is believed to have suffered a concussion, but the team hasn't confirmed that. He missed four games last year with a concussion.

Rick Nash absorbed a blow to the head due to Brad Stuart's hit on Tuesday. Nash, who dealt with a concussion in February, attempted to stay in the game, but ultimately decided to call it a night. "It just didn't feel right," Nash said. "I could feel it. Any time you get a head shot you're concerned. It's not a good feeling." He should be considered day-to-day for now, but obviously this is very troubling news.

Rick Nash registered two assists on Monday. Nash has three points in two games this season. The Rangers decision to fire coach John Tortorella and replace him with Alain Vigneault should increase Nash's fantasy value in 2013-14.

Rick Nash's fight on Thursday was only the seventh in his NHL career. While coach Alain Vigneault was pleased that Nash came to the defense of teammate Derek Stepan, he wants Nash to show his offensive skills off and not his fists. "I think it's real good (he defended Stepan)," Vigneault said. "I need Rick, though, to play like Rick Nash. And he will. His work ethic and his attitude are real good. He's trying hard, and he's like the rest of our team. We're gonna put it together." Nash had 21 goals and 42 points last season but look for him to approach the 35-40 goal mark with 75-80 points in 2013-14.

Rick Nash is poised to have a better season with the Rangers in 2013-14 than he did in 2012-13. With a more attacking strategy to be implemented by new Ranger coach Alain Vigneault and less shuffling around from line to line, Nash will likely find a comfort zone that eluded him under former New York bench boss John Tortorella. "He's got an up-tempo style, but his teams are always sound defensively," said Nash. "We haven't really gotten into systems yet, but it definitely seems like it'll be more offensive." Look for Nash to return to the 30-40 goal club this season.
