Boucher signed a one-year contract with Avangard Omsk of the KHL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher spent the entirety of the 2019-20 campaign in the minors, racking up 34 goals and 67 points in 53 games with AHL Utica. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 2011 fourth-round pick spend the rest of his playing career overseas.

Boucher is being pursued by European clubs for the 2020-21 campaign, Rick Dhaliwal of TSN 1040 Vancouver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher led AHL Utica in scoring this past year with 34 goals and 33 helpers in 53 contests. Dispute putting up impressive numbers with the Comets, the 26-year-old never got a shot with the Canucks this season prior to the shutdown. The Michigan native doesn't plan to give European hockey a try but could ask for a trade if Vancouver isn't going to give him an opportunity to play in the NHL.

Boucher signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canucks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher has spent parts of the past three seasons in the organization, logging 48 games at the NHL level and putting up eight goals and four assists. Only one of those appearances came in 2018-19, however, suggesting the 25-year-old will probably remain on the periphery as he competes for a 23-man roster spot in training camp. Expect the winger to see most of his action during the upcoming campaign at AHL Utica.

Boucher received a qualifying offer from the Canucks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher only appeared in one game with the big club this season, going scoreless while logging 5:28 of ice time, so although all signs point to him remaining with Vancouver in 2019-20, he'll likely be spending most of his time with AHL Utica.

The Canucks reassigned Boucher to AHL Utica on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks activated Brock Boeser (groin) off injured reserve in a corresponding move, so they're no longer in need of Boucher's services as a depth forward. The 25-year-old American will return to a prominent role with AHL Utica, where he's totaled 10 goals and 16 points in 12 appearances this campaign.

Boucher was recalled by Vancouver on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher leads the AHL Utica Comets in scoring with 10 goals and six helpers in 12 games. He played 20 games for the Canucks last year, amassing just five points. He hasn't suited up for Vancouver yet this season. His earliest opportunity will be Friday in San Jose.

Bouchersigned a one-year, two-way contract to remain in Vancouver on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks have decided to bring back the leading scorer of AHL Utica, who tallied 46 points (25 goals, 21 assists) in 45 games. In 2018, Boucher was reassigned to the AHL affiliate after breaking his hand on a blocked shot with three games remaining in the season. Throughout his 20 games with Vancouver, Boucher had three goals and two assists-- including a power-play goal and a power-play assist. The departure of the Sedin twins leaves a void on the team's power play, and an opportunity for the 24-year-old two compete for a role in the offense. Unfortunately, Boucher was also minus-12 in those 20 games, and his defensive play will need to improve in order to see an expanded role.

Boucher (hand) was reassigned to AHL Utica on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher will link up with the Comets in order to bolster their ranks for the Calder Cup Playoffs. Considering the winger missed the final three games of the season with a hand injury, the move will also give him a chance to work on his game ahead of the 2018-19 campaign. In 20 NHL appearances this year, the 24-year-old notched five points, but was a concerning minus-12. If he wants to secure regular minutes next season, Boucher will need to step up his two-way play.

Boucher (hand) was waived by the Canucks on Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher is set to become a restricted free agent this summer, so if any team claims him, it will only be claiming his rights. The 24-year-old played 20 games for Vancouver this season and accrued three goals and five points while averaging 11:23 of ice time. Boucher is still recovering from a broken hand he suffered in early April.

Boucher broke his hand blocking a shot and is out for the rest of the season, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Granted, "out for the season" at this point means out for three games. Still, that means the 24-year-old will miss out on the rest of the Sedin farewell tour, and also likely more minutes for Brendan Gaunce.
