DAILY PRIME- MARCH 4, 2014: WHAT ABOUT BOBBER? primepucks.com Tue 3/4/14 8:35 AM

Relatively quiet heading into the last 2 days before the trade deadline with Brandon Pirri heading South to Florida the only other significant trade so far beside the Ryan Miller deal to St. Louis. Expect the domino effect to take place once the next trade goes off.  This could be a very busy trade period coming up. Four games on the ticket last night and all four were nail-biters with each one being decided by a single goal. Sergei Bobrovsky (28/29 SV) was the key in the Columbus Blue Jacket victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bobber made quite a few huge saves to preserve the lead and eventually the win. The Jackets' defense also played a significant role in the victory.   If the Blue Jackets have any chance of making the dance in April, they will need this kind of goaltending from here on out.  It's gonna be tough, but for now Bobrovsky is answering that question. After missing a few games to a minor injury, red-hot Tyler Ennis returned and scored both Buffalo Sabre goals in their 3-2 loss to Kari Lehtonen and the Dallas Stars. Ennis had been on fire before the minor setback, but it looks like he is ready to pick up right where he left off.  Grab him quick, as we had mentioned in Monday's ADD'EM and in February 26th's DAILY PRIME.... Another Sabre to perhaps take a chance on is winger Matt Moulson.  Moulson has been rumored to be on the trading block ever since he was acquired early in the season from the NY Islanders. On the right team, Moulson can be explosive.  He picked up two assists in last night's game. Dallas Star LWer Ray Whitney has been quiet all season long but with 2 assists last night just might be showcasing his talents for a playoff contender who needs veteran scoring help. The Wizard may be worth a flyer if you have room on your roster. Darcy Kuemper seems to having the time of his life with another victory, this time over the Calgary Flames, to raise his record to 11-3-2.  The upstart goalie has been a godsend since injuries to Harding and Backstrom seemed to have hamstrung the Wild but Kuemper has come to the rescue.  Don't be surprised if Minnesota trades for a veteran goaltender just in case. Wild C Mikael Granlund had 2 assists in the win and looks to be coming on lately. Granlund is a good breakout candidate for next season. Granlund was mentioned in one of the UNDER THE RAYDAR article dated January 31st. Kings goalie Jonathan Quick continued his excellent goaltending with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Quick only saw...
