Copley will tend the home twine in Sunday's game versus the Jets, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite Braden Holtby riding a five-game winning streak, Copley will make his first start in two weeks. Copley has won four straight outings, but he was just scraping by with an ugly .891 save percentage and 3.38 GAA in that span. He'll have an intense test in this matchup, as the Jets rank fifth in the league at 3.43 goals per game.

Copley stopped 26 of 31 shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old backstop extended his winning streak to four games with a lot of help from his teammates after Copley gave up the tying goal with only 31 seconds left on the clock in the third period. His 3.06 GAA and .901 save percentage are nothing special, but the Caps seem to be giving him plenty of goal support, making Copley a DFS target whenever Braden Holtby needs a breather,

Copley will patrol the home crease in Sunday's game versus the Rangers, JJ Regan of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
He marked the win column in each of his last three starts but posted mediocre numbers with a .908 save percentage and 2.94 GAA in that stretch. The Rangers are currently in sell mode, as they've already moved Mats Zuccarello and they'll be sitting center Kevin Hayes for precautionary measure. Those two combined for 79 points, so their absence will make Copley's time in the blue paint easier.

Copley will draw the start against the Kings on Monday, Chris Kuc of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copley has made two starts so far in February so far, going 2-0-0 while allowing seven goals on 70 shots. His 3.02 GAA and .903 save percentage on the season aren't much to get excited about, but a matchup against one of the league's weakest offenses could provide solid fantasy value.

Copley is set to tend the twine at home against the Kings on Monday, JJ Regan of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copley will take the first game of the Caps' back-to-back in order to save Braden Holtby for Tuesday's road tilt with Columbus. In 20 appearances this season, the 26-year-old Copley is 11-5-3 with one shutout, a 2.97 GAA and a .904 save percentage. Heading down the stretch, the youngster could see some additional starts in order to keep Holtby fresh for Washington's title defense.

Copley stopped 34 of 37 shots Thursday in a 4-3 overtime win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Copley needed this after Nashville and Chicago lit him up in his previous two appearances. This time, he did enough against the Avalanche's fearsome top line to give his team a chance to win, and the Capitals delivered for him. However, given how he's looked before Thursday, one game isn't enough to recommend him in any format besides a daily league when you need someone cheap in goal.

Copley will tend the twine versus Colorado at home Thursday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copley has underwhelmed in his recent appearances in goal, as he is 1-3-2 with a 3.84 GAA in his previous six outings. The Alaska native recently signed a three-year contract extension and will look to reward the club for its confidence in him by climbing out of his slump -- though matching up against one of the best lines in hockey in Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen is all tall task for any netminder.

Copley agreed to terms on a three-year, $3.3 million contract extension with Washington on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Copley was set to become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, but has tied himself to the Caps for three additional years. The 27-year-old netminder is unlikely to become the full-time starter for Washington at any point, especially if the club is able to re-sign No. 1 Braden Holtby before his contract expires following the 2019-20 campaign. The deal likely will fill the exposure requirements for a potential Seattle expansion draft, which was almost certainly a factor in the team's decision.

Copley replaced Braden Holtby early in the second period during Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Blackhawks, stopping 14 of 17 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Washington's defense had no answer for the Chicago offense, so it didn't end up mattering much who was in net for them. Copley now has a 2.98 GAA and .903 save percentage on the season, similar numbers to Holtby, and his workload as the Caps' No. 2 goalie going forward will depend more on Holtby's availability and form than his own performance.

Copley surrendered six goals on 27 shots during Tuesday's 7-2 blowout road loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Copley was a surprise starter having started the night before in a loss to the Blues, but the Capitals put him in a difficult spot in order to give Braden Holtby extra rest following an injury scare stemming from a Jan. 12 loss to the Blue Jackets. The 26-year-old will fall to a 10-4-3 record in 18 starts in his first full season with the Capitals.
