Eaves scored a goal Saturday against the Oilers to extend his goal streak to five games.
EDGE Analysis
This is the longest goal streak of his 12-year career. Check your wire -- Eaves can play up and down the lineup, and is particularly potent on the power play. That's where he scored Saturday. Take advantage.

Eaves stayed hot with a goal Thursday against the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
That's five goals over the past four games for Eaves. He's clearly enjoying playing alongside star center Tyler Seguin, and is on pace for a career-high 37 goals at age 32. While the veteran has never topped 32 points in a season before, he has a golden opportunity to blow that number out of the water while being used in a much more significant role.

Eaves collected a first-period goal during Tuesday's win over New Jersey to increase his goal-scoring streak to three games.
EDGE Analysis
Eaves now has six goals and nine points through his past eight games, and he's clearly clicking in his newfound top-line duty alongside Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. It's also worth noting that he's padding the peripheral categories with 21 shots, four PIM and nine hits during the eight-game stretch. He's worth grabbing in all seasonal settings and currently checks out as a solid value play in daily contests.

Eaves found twine twice on three shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Tyler Seguin was the setup man on both of Eaves' goals, which serves as a reminder to fantasy owners that Eaves is currently playing in the top six with one of the most talented pivots in the NHL.

Eaves scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist during Friday's win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old veteran is off to a solid start to the season and is up to four goals and six helpers over 14 games thus far. Injuries have hindered Eaves' fantasy value throughout his career, and he's never topped his 32 points from his sophomore campaign back in 2006-07. However, barring injury, it looks like Eaves is in line for a career-best showing. He's worth a look in deeper fantasy settings.

Eaves tallied a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- but went minus-4 in Tuesday's loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
That's what qualifies as a bright spot in this disastrous game for the Stars, who got at least two goals scored on them in each period. Eaves has provided sneaky fantasy value this year, having notched eight points in 12 games, and he's taking shots at the highest rate of his career. That suggests his performance is at least somewhat sustainable, as long as he keeps playing big minutes.

Eaves returned to the lineup Tuesday after missing one game with a lower-body injury and scored his 100th career goal on a second-period power play in a 3-2 win over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
With the Stars' forward ranks ravaged by injuries, Eaves enjoyed 17:59 of ice time, including more than five minutes on the power play. Although that won't generally be the case moving forward, he's responded with points every time he's seen big usage so far this year, and even when his ice time's been limited, the veteran has been seeing consistent minutes on the power play. There's no age-32 breakout going on here, but we could see a little more from Eaves this year than we have in the past -- although that hinges on him staying healthy, something that's been an issue throughout his career.

Eaves (lower body) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Eaves sustained a lower body injury in Thursday's game against the Kings and missed the Stars' fifth regular season game as a result. However, the injury was never considered serious and the right winger rejoined the team during morning skate Tuesday in preparation for his return to the lineup. The Alberta native will join Jamie Benn and Radek Faksa on the second line as Dallas looks to secure a win at home.

Eaves (lower body) is considered probable to rejoin the lineup for Tuesday's game against Winnipeg after taking part in line rushes during morning skate.
EDGE Analysis
Eaves was out of commission for Saturday's contest against the Blue Jackets, but appears to be in good position to rejoin the lineup Tuesday. He skated alongside Jamie Benn and Radek Faksa during morning skate and could slot in there for the evening's contest against the Jets.

Eaves (lower body) is questionable against the Jets on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Eaves has been dogged by injuries over the past two seasons and it appears 2016-17 won't be any different. After playing in the opening four contests of the year, the winger was sidelined Saturday and may not be available versus Winnipeg. Thus far, the veteran is averaging nearly three minutes per night with the man advantage but has just one power-play assist to show for it. Given the rash of injuries on the right side, the Stars will likely need to call-up a forward from AHL Texas if Eaves is unable to get on the ice.
