Los Angeles Kings prospect Oscar Moller suffered a ligament injury and could be out of action until February. Moller was highly regarded coming out of junior hockey but struggled with the Kings and in their farm system and spent last season with Skelleftea in the Swedish Elite League where he had 31 points in 54 games. He currently has nine goals and 14 points in 15 games. He is currently an RFA.

Oscar Moller received a qualifying offer from the Los Angeles Kings before the deadline. Moller will likely play this season in his native Sweden but the Kings still had to qualify him in order to retain his rights. Moller is still highly regarded by the Kings and is only 22 years of age so it is likely that he will eventually return to the NHL. Stay tuned.
