Goldobin was one of six players reassigned to AHL San Jose on Tuesday, Curtis Pashelka of the Bay Area News Group reports.

Along with Goldobin, the Sharks also reassigned Ryan Carpenter, Barclay Goodrow, Dan Kelly, Kevin Labanc, and Mirco Mueller to the minors.

Coach Pete DeBoer broke training camp into NHL and AHL squads Wednesday and Goldobin stayed with the NHLers, reports CSN Bay Area.

Goldobin had a nice season with HIFK Helsinki (21 points in 38 games) in Finland and was assigned to the AHL after their season ended. If the 2014 first-round-pick can't crack the Sharks roster out of camp next year, there is no doubt the San Jose brass will do all they can to ensure he plays next season in North America.
