Goldobin had flashes of the speed and skill that the Sharks will eventually expect regularly from the 20-year-old winger. But getting some time in the AHL to adjust to the North American game and gain some confidence should be good for him as a player long-term. That's particularly true since he wasn't on the roster regularly, playing just three of the Sharks' first six games.
