Prokhorkin agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Metallurg Magnitogorsk (KHL) on Monday, Kings beat writer John Hoven reports.

Prokhorkin saw action in 43 games with the Kings this season, in which he notched four goals, 10 helpers and 63 shots while averaging 12:06 of ice time. The winger will almost certainly be given a qualifying offer by the team to maintain his player rights should he make a return to the NHL following the conclusion of his overseas contract.

Prokhorkin's assist against the Avalanche allowed him to enter the league hiatus on a reasonably high note.

EDGE Analysis

Prokhorkin managed 14 points in 43 games this year, which suggests he's not likely to be much help in fantasy moving forward. He has shown a nose for the net in his native Russia but hasn't yet found a way to consistently produce in North America.

At one point, Prokhorin's 13 points on the season were a decent number that suggested he had value in daily leagues as a cheap option. But that was 10 games ago, and it's become clear that scoring is likely to be few and far between for the Russian winger. Prokhorin's value is pretty limited at the moment, and unless you're in the deepest of dynasty leagues and you're planning for next season, there's no real reason to own him right now.

Prokhorkin registered a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.

Prokhorkin earned an assist on Martin Frk's goal in the third period. The two wingers have worked well together in the last three games -- Prokhorkin has three assists in that span. The Russian is up to 11 points and 32 shots on goal in 22 contests.

Prokhorkin registered two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over the Sharks.

EDGE Analysis

Prokhorkin's line with Jeff Carter (three points) and Martin Frk (two goals) found instant chemistry in their first game together. Prokhorkin has 10 points, 28 shots and 19 hits through 20 appearances. The Russian could end up with 25 to 30 points by the end of the season if he can find some more consistency.

Prokhorkin picked up an assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Flames.
