Nigel Dawes scored two goals in Barys Astana's 5-4 overtime win over Torpedo Novgorod in KHL action Sunday. It was the former Hamilton Bulldog's 15th and 16th goals of the season. Dawes has been playing very well in Russia and is amongst the KHL's top goal scorers just behind the likes of Alexander Radulov, Alexander Ovechkin and Evgeny Malkin. We wouldn't be surprised if his performance to date earns him a third or fourth line job once the NHL resumes play.
