Ritchie's was excused from Friday's Game 2 against the Oilers due to flu-like symptoms.
EDGE Analysis
It initially appeared that Ritchie was a healthy scratch in favor of Jared Boll, but the former being under the weather makes more sense given that -- under normal circumstances -- he can match Boll's level of grit without the team taking such a hit offensively. Consider Ritchie day-to-day ahead of Game 3 on the road Sunday.

Ritchie won't play Friday for Game 2 against the Oilers, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ducks coach Randy Carlyle will swap out Ritchie for another physical line defender in Jared Boll, though it's a bit of a curious move since Boll doesn't come close to matching the level of offensive skill as the man he replaces.

Ritchie (suspension) will suit up for Game 2 on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie failed to record a point in the five games prior to his suspension. The 21-year-old scored 14 goals and added 14 assists in 77 games for the Ducks this season. He also brings a physical presence; the winger was credited with 247 hits this year.

Ritchie (suspension) is available to suit up against the Flames on Saturday having served out his two-game ban.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to his suspension, Ritchie was bogged down in a five-game pointless streak, but will likely return to the lineup regardless. With the 21-year-old slotting back in, Ondrej Kase figures to be the leading candidate to watch Game 2 from the press box.

Ritchie will serve a two-game suspension for punching Chicago's Michal Rozsival on Thursday, per the NHL Department of Player Safety.
EDGE Analysis
This ban will result in Ritchie missing Game 1 of the Ducks opening-round playoff series. It could have been worse for the 21-year-old but he was cited by the league as not being a repeat offender, which likely served to limited the length of his suspension. The winger, who has failed to record a point in five straight contests, will likely be replaced in the lineup Sunday against the Kings by Jared Boll.

Ritchie put the puck in an empty net to put a dagger in a 6-3 win over the Rangers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie clocked 16:48 of ice time, which is only the third time since Oct. 25 that he surpassed 16:00 on the ice in a game. He now has 26 points on the season, but most impressively is the 227 hits he has dished out over 71 games. His points alone are enough to make him a decent option in medium leagues, but his hitting should make him a stable contributor in any league that values physical play.

Ritchie (neck) didn't make the trip to Chicago for Thursday's game against the Blackhawks, ESPN's Julie Stewart-Binks reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie reportedly sustained whiplash after colliding with Nashville's Filip Forsberg in Tuesday's game against the Predators, and he'll almost certainly miss the Ducks' next two games while in recovery mode. The 21-year-old winger has been a solid bottom-six contributor for Anaheim this season, notching 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists), but his fantasy value is largely limited to leagues that reward the physical side of the game, as Ritchie has racked up an impressive 209 hits in 64 this season. More information regarding his availability for Sunday's home meeting with the Capitals should be released in the coming days.

Ritchie registered two assists and three hits during Wednesday's win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie now has four helpers through his past three games and is clearly clicking on a new-look line with Ryan Getzlaf and Ondrej Kase. Additionally, Ritchie's high-shot volume (2.02 shots per game) and physicality (37 PIM and 3.25 hits per game) make him a nice cross-category asset. He's worth a look in deeper seasonal leagues, and Ritchie has the potential cap off 2016-17 with a solid run leading into the playoffs. He's also currently priced for profit in daily contests.

Ritchie collected a second-period assist and registered four shots on goal during Monday's loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie has skated primarily with Ryan Getzlaf the past two games, and the 21-year-old winger has picked up an assist in each outing. The offensive contributions have been too few and far between to consider Ritchie a reliable fantasy asset in most settings, but there is upside if he can stick on Getzlaf's flank. It isn't out of the question to take a speculative flier on Ritchie in deep leagues, and he's also a potential low-priced option in daily contests.

Ritchie tallied a pair of helpers in a 5-1 win Tuesday over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Ritchie's previous outing was rough (minus-3 in a 4-0 loss to Edmonton), so it was nice to see him bounce back in this one. The 21-year-old now has a modest 18 points in 50 games this year -- including four in his last eight -- and should maintain value in deeper leagues given his whopping 174 hits, which is third best in the NHL.
