Nick Palmieri has agreed to play for the EHC Red Bull Munchen of Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga this season. In 2012-13 he split time in the AHL between the Houston Aeros and the Connecticut Whale. Palmieri has 25 points in 87 career NHL contests.

The New York Rangers have acquired Nick Palmieri in a three-player trade. Palmieri has been sent to the minors. He had 10 goals and 21 points in 40 games with the AHL Houston Aeros.

Nick Palmieri was claimed off waivers by MIN on Friday January 18.

Nick Palmieri has been placed on waivers by the Wild. He signed a one-year, two-way contract with Minnesota earlier this week. Palmieri has picked up 19 points in 36 games with AHL Houston this campaign.

Nick Palmieri will re-sign with the Wild. Palmieri played in 36 games with the team's AHL affiliate, putting up 19 points, during the work stoppage. He was a restricted free agent. This deal can become official at 12 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Nick Palmieri produced a goal and an assist in Houston's 5-1 win against San Antonio on Tuesday afternoon. Palmieri has picked up 13 points in 23 games this season. David McIntyre also had a goal and a helper in the contest. High-end prospect Charlie Coyle scored the game-winning goal.

The expectation is that Nick Palmieri will sign an AHL deal soon in order to play for the Houston Aeros. Palmieri is a restricted free agent by NHL standards, but he's unable to sign an NHL contract due to the ongoing labor dispute. The contract is expected to be signed in the next couple of days so that the winger can join the Aeros at the start of training camp this week.

Restricted free agent Nick Palmieri remains unsigned but Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that it's "just a matter of time" before a deal gets done. The 23-year-old is the only restricted not yet inked to a deal on the Wild. He had seven points in 38 games in the NHL last year, and 17 in 42 games at the AHL. He was involved in the deal that sent Marek Zidlicky to the Devils in February.

The Minnesota Wild have sent Nick Palmieri to the minors. Palmieri has struggled since being dealt to the Wild from New Jersey at the trade deadline as he had no points in nine games. "It's a tough situation for young guys, so he has the ability to go down there and play on a good team and get quality minutes," coach Mike Yeo said. "Certainly there's some things in his game that he can improve, but we see the potential that he has. This is similar with what we did with Marco [Scandella] earlier in the year. I don't think his game is necessarily as high as it can be right now, but some of that is also being in a tough situation. So for him to go down there and get confidence and play his game and not have to worry about anything except being a hockey player, I think it can be beneficial. He's a big body who skates and can shoot the puck, but there's a lot of the little things that have to be improved. He will have a chance to make the team out of training camp next season.
