Leddy will be placed on waivers Sunday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy has accounted for four assists, six shots on net, 26 blocked shots and four hits in 19 appearances this season. If he clears waivers, he will probably report to AHL San Jose.

Leddy logged an assist and two hits in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy was scratched for 10 of the Sharks' previous 15 games. The 34-year-old filled in for Vincent Iorio in Friday's contest, but Leddy's playing time has been trending down since late October. He's earned just four assists with six shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating through 19 appearances this season.

Leddy logged an assist in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
This was Leddy's first point since he was activated from injured reserve Nov. 10 after dealing with an upper-body injury. He's played in just four of the Sharks' last 13 games as the team navigates balancing minutes on a crowded blue line. For the season, Leddy is at three helpers, four shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 11 appearances. He doesn't look likely to be a regular in San Jose, which makes him a non-factor in fantasy.

Leddy (upper body) was activated off injured reserve Monday and will be available for Tuesday's game against Minnesota, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy has been sidelined since late October due to his upper-body injury, but he's practiced with the Sharks over the past week and will be able to suit up against the Wild. Over seven appearances prior to sustaining his injury, Leddy logged two assists, 10 blocked shots, two hits and four PIM while averaging 17:12 of ice time.

Leddy (upper body) participated in Tuesday's practice, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy will accompany the Sharks to Seattle ahead of Wednesday's game, but a return to the lineup is unlikely. Mario Ferraro skipped Tuesday's session for maintenance, giving San Jose eight healthy blueliners on the roster. Still, Leddy appears to be nearing a return after missing the last six games.

Leddy (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Sharks recalled Patrick Giles from AHL San Jose in a corresponding move. Leddy will miss his third straight game against the Kings on Tuesday, and it's unclear when he will be ready to return to action. He has posted two assists, one shot on goal, 10 blocked shots and two hits across seven appearances this season.

Leddy (upper body) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Devils and Sunday's clash in Minnesota, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy sustained an upper-body injury during Thursday's game against the Rangers, and he'll be unavailable for at least two matchups. Sam Dickinson will take his place in the lineup against New Jersey, while Leddy will be re-evaluated when the Sharks return home.

Leddy (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Leddy sustained the injury early in the first period and was ruled out during the intermission. Per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News, it was a hit by Will Cuylle that took Leddy out of the game. It's unclear if the defenseman will be able to play Friday versus the Devils -- if not, Sam Dickinson will likely draw back in.

Leddy had an assist, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
This was Leddy's first point over two games with the Sharks since he was claimed off waivers from the Blues in the offseason. The 34-year-old blueliner is poised to play a significant role as a top-four option this season. He was limited to five points in 31 regular-season outings last year and has fallen short of the 30-point mark in four straight seasons, so Leddy isn't a particularly strong option for fantasy.

Leddy is on his way to San Jose after he was claimed off waivers by the Sharks on Thursday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
EDGE Analysis
The Sharks are adding another veteran to their defensive corps after inking Dmitry Orlov to a two-year contract earlier in the day. Leddy has one more year remaining on his four-year, $16 million contract. He had only two goals and three assists across 31 regular-season games in 2024-25, missing most of the season with a lower-body injury. Leddy should be a top-four defenseman with the Sharks and will likely regain a spot on the power play after being a non-factor with the man-advantage over his last three years with the Blues.
