Shore (undisclosed) won't play Thursday against the Canadiens, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Shore is reportedly dealing with a "minor" issue, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him return to action Saturday against the Bruins. With shore unavailable Thursday, Michael Amadio will slot into the lineup and make his NHL debut against Montreal.

Shore put pen to paper on a one-year deal with the Kings on Thursday worth $925,000.
EDGE Analysis
Shore posted career highs in goals (6), assists (11) and games played (70) last season. The 24-year-old could be inline for an expanded role during the 2017-18 campaign after averaging 12:47 of ice time -- including 1:18 shorthanded. Despite the positive signs from his sophomore campaign, the Denver, Colorado native is unlikely to push for a top-six role as he is stuck behind Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter in the depth chart.

Shore scored a goal and dished out three helpers in a 6-4 win over the visiting Oilers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
What a night for the 24-year-old, who increased his output to 17 points in his second full NHL season with the four-point showing -- all of which came at even strength.

Shore (upper body) will return to the Kings' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Flames, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shore has missed LA's last 11 games due to an upper-body injury, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him eased back into action against Calgary. He'll slot into a bottom-six role against the Flames, centering Dustin Brown and Tyler Toffoli on the Kings' third line. The American forward has only notched 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 63 games with the Kings this season, so he isn't a practical fantasy option in most formats.

Coach Darryl Sutter indicated Monday that Shore (upper body) may not play again this season, the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shore hasn't played in any of the team's last 10 games, but did return to practice Friday. While that's a positive sign, the Kings have little incentive to rush him back into action and he may not be ready to go unless the team makes the playoffs. "I don't even know if he's going to play this (season). We've got to make the playoffs, probably, for him to play, so that's a stretch. What do you expect out of him? Hey, go from a fifth (center) or a four to try and be a three," said Sutter. Even if he does sneak back into action before the regular season closes, Shore's 12 points over 63 contests leaves him largely off the fantasy radar.

Shore (upper body) will miss Thursday's game, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
The center missed the Kings' last game on Saturday, but the four-day gap between games wasn't enough to get him back into game shape. His next chance to return will be Saturday against the Capitals.

Shore (upper body) didn't skate Friday and will be further evaluated Saturday, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shore exited Thursday's contest and was seen walking through the team's facilities with his arm in a sling but is still being listed as day-today. The Kings have a four-day break following Saturday's tilt so expect the Kings to proceed cautiously.

Shore (upper body) was unable to return to Thursday's game against the Maple Leafs, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shore did not come out for the third period due to the issue. He should be considered day-to-day, at least until the Kings have a chance to evaluate him further.
