Miroslav Satan has decided to call it a career.
He said this would be his last season and his playing days came to an end with Slovakia's elimination from the World Hockey Championship on Tuesday. The team finished fifth in Group A, which keeps them out of the quarterfinals. He had three points in seven matches at the tournament. Satan had 12 points in 23 games with HC Slovan Bratislava this past season. He hasn't played in the NHL since 2009-10 when he suited up for the Boston Bruins.
