Koivu has been ruled out of Sunday's game with the Predators due to an illness.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu is day-to-day going forward. It's likely Tyler Graovac will get into the Wild's lineup in his absence. His next chance to return will be for Tuesday's game against Dallas.

Koivu is not in warm-ups for Sunday's game against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
It is unclear why Koivu is not warming up, but it puts his availability for Sunday's game in question. If Koivu is indeed out, look for Tyler Graovac to slide into the Wild's lineup.

Koivu notched a pair of assists -- one on the power play -- in Tuesday's loss to New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
He's been hitting the scoresheet on a nearly every-game basis; as a result, Koivu has a lengthy hot streak going in which he's picked up 18 points and a plus-14 rating in 16 games. That's a pretty massive (and welcome) improvement from the mere six points he managed in the season's first 17 contests, and it keeps him reliable in fantasy too.

Koivu stretched his current point streak to four games and seven points Saturday with a goal and an assist in an overtime loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu is white hot right now -- he has 10 points in his last six games after tallying just 18 in his first 32 games. Koivu's shooting percentage remains unsustainable, so enjoy this outburst while it lasts. He'll probably settle into a pace somewhere between his frigid start and fiery present.

Koivu scored twice on four shots in Thursday's 5-4 win over San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu tied the game 8:23 into the third period before scoring the game-winner less than two minutes later. The 33-year-old center is shooting a career-high 18.6 percent, but even a reduction closer to his career mark of 9.2 percent won't kill the value of a player that already has 11 goals, 15 assists and a plus-20 rating through 37 games.

Koivu notched two assists and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu could hardly have started the year worse -- just six points in 17 games -- but the light flicked on in a big way in late November. Over his last 18 contests, the veteran center has picked up 17 points with an accompanying plus-17 rating (contributing to a total plus-18 that would be a career best). The Wild are killing it as a team, and that's lifting Koivu's fantasy value to new heights even though his scoring hasn't really improved on the whole.

Koivu lit the lamp, adding two helpers and a plus-3 rating during Friday's 7-4 victory over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The offense could do no wrong Tuesday, allowing Koivu to feast in his most productive game of the season. Before his eruption, the 33-year-old had only registered one other multi-point outing this year. While the veteran isn't reaching the box score in bunches, he's still rocking nine goals and 12 helpers on the top line.

Koivu helped out on teammate Jason Zucker's first-period goal in Wednesday's 3-2 win against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu just keeps on adding points, having now recorded at least one in seven of his last eight games, accounting for eight of his 14 points on the season. The 33-year-old has seen a career low in power-play minutes (2:16), which has limited him to just three power-play assists -- two of which have come during his current point streak.

Koivu netted the overtime-winning goal Sunday against the OIlers.
EDGE Analysis
Koivu has caught fire of late, racking up three goals and five points in his last five games. The Minnesota captain only has 13 points on the season, but he's scored six times and is really delivering for a Wild team now sitting sixth in the Western Conference standings. Koivu has never been a massive point producer, but he's consistent enough and plays on the power play, so get him in your lineup.

Koivu registered his first multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist during Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Following a lengthy slump that saw him post just a single assist in eight games, Koivu now has five points in his last four. He continues to center Minnesota's second line in between Mikael Granlund and Jason Zucker, and is worth a look in most medium to deep fantasy formats.
