He's found twine in each of Arizona's first three games and is worth a speculative add if he is available in your league, especially since he's getting first-line and top power-play duties. Furthermore, the 24-year-old is already in his seventh NHL season and is coming off a 51-point breakout last year, so he's definitely trending upward.

"He took real positive steps," Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. "There's still steps for him to grow - his board work, his 200-foot game - there's areas of growth there. But he's gone from being a young player, a player who wasn't sure if he could do it, to a player who knows he can do it now, and he (has) good skill, committed, good teammate, all the things you like in a player."
