Michael Rupp has been suspended four games for hitting T.J. Oshie in the head on Thursday. That's one regular season game and three playoff contests. In addition to the hit being an illegal check to the head, Rupp was also guilty of interference. On top of that, Oshie was injured on the play.

Michael Rupp was assessed a match penalty in Thursday's game against St. Louis. He was ejected in the second period after he delivered a high hit to Blues forward T.J. Oshie. Rupp is automatically suspended pending a review from the league and he'll face supplemental discipline. He was playing in his first game since Feb. 1.

Michael Rupp will suit up in his first game since Feb. 1 on Thursday night. He has one assist in 12 games this season. This will mark just his fifth appearance in the lineup since Dec. 31. Coach Mike Yeo wants to get his seldom-used players some game action before the end of the year in case they are called upon in the playoffs. Just an FYI as he doesn't have any fantasy value.

Michael Rupp is waiting anxiously for an opportunity to play. He hasn't played since Feb. 1 and he's suited up in just 12 games this campaign. Rupp said he's spoken with Minnesota coach Mike Yeo and he told him: "I just want to have the opportunity to show that I can get the job done. I just want him to make sure that door's open for me still. I'm just going to keep going at it."

With Zenon Konopka a healthy scratch, the Minnesota Wild will replace some of that grit with Mihcael Rupp against the New York Islanders on Sunday. Rupp isn't very fantasy relevant, but Konopka has been a PIM machine in the past. That hasn't been the case as much this season, though; Konopka only has 55 PIM in 36 games after racking up 117 in 37 last season.

Michael Rupp returned to action on Monday December 2.

Michael Rupp has been moved to the non-roster list after a death in his family. Rupp suggested that he'll be gone for a few days. He has no points in two games this season.

Michael Rupp will make his season debut Monday night versus St. Louis. He had off-season surgery on his knee and he's finally ready to return. The hard-nosed forward can pick up hits and penalty minutes, but he typically doesn't get much ice time.

Michael Rupp (knee) appears ready to at least join his Minnesota Wild teammates on Monday. Does that mean he'll play against the St. Louis Blues? It's hard to say. He doesn't have a ton of fantasy value either way, though.

Michael Rupp (knee) has agreed to go down to the minors on a conditioning stint. He hasn't played yet this year because of off-season knee surgery. Rupp will dress for AHL Iowa versus Chicago on Wednesday and against San Antonio on Friday before he returns to the Minnesota Wild.
