Fisher (undisclosed) is questionable to face the Ducks for Game 5 on Saturday, The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Predators have received word that top-line pivot Ryan Johansen will miss 2-to-3 months due to a thigh injury that required emergency surgery, so all eyes will be on Fisher leading up to the pivotal road match, even if fantasy owners have given up on him since he's still searching for a point in the playoffs after 14 games. The 36-year-old is naturally an option in the faceoff circle and he's delivered three hits in each of his last two games, so there's still tangible value with Fisher in some of the unconventional scoring formats.

Fisher was injured in the third period of Game 4 against the Ducks on Thursday, and he'll be set up for further evaluation.
EDGE Analysis
By default, Fisher will carry the day-to-day designation, at least until more information is disclosed. The center's offensive play has been horrendous in these playoffs, as he's still searching for a point after 14 games. It goes without saying that this ailment won't help matters.

Fisher was dominated on faceoffs Friday night, winning just one-third of his draws in the 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks for Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
EDGE Analysis
According to Kristopher Martel of FSTN, the pivot dropped from a faceoff win rate of 55.3 percent in these playoffs to a 52.4 clip after this game. Still, of greater concern to the Predators and fantasy owners alike is that Fisher is still searching for a point this postseason. The 36-year-old has only managed 14 shots in 11 games, but look for those numbers to improve if he can solve his woes in the dot.

Fisher (lower body) is projected to suit up for Thursday's playoff opener in Chicago, The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher's lower-body injury at the end of the regular season did not appear to be overly serious, so there's no reason to think that the Predators' captain won't be ready to go when the team begins its playoff run Thursday. The 36-year-old is slated to center Nashville's second line with Kevin Fiala and James Neal on his wings

Fisher (lower body) will not play Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With a spot in the playoffs locked up, the Predators are resting several of their injured players. Fisher puts a wrap on his regular-season campaign with 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) in 72 games, which is a sizable jump from last season, when he received approximately thirty seconds more ice time per game.

Fisher is apparently dealing with a lower-body injury and will still not draw into Thursday night's game in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
It was originally thought that Fisher was just being given a night of rest, but the team has now clarified that he recently sustained an injury. It remains to be seen how long the ailment will keep him sidelined, but it stands to reason that Fisher could miss Sunday's season finale against the Jets.

Fisher (rest) isn't expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
The Predators have already clinched a spot in the playoffs, so they'll use the last two games of the regular season to rest veterans like Fisher ahead of postseason play. It isn't clear if Fisher will return to the lineup for Nashville's final game of the season Saturday against Winnipeg, but if not, he'll return to his usual role for Game 1 of the Predators' first-round series.

Fisher scored the Predators' only goal during Tuesday's overtime loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old veteran is turning in another serviceable season with 18 goals, 42 points, 120 shots, 55 PIM and 160 hits. Fisher's 17 power-play points are also a nice bonus. Considering his age and defense-first role (just 39.6 percent of five-on-five shifts have begun in the offensive zone), Fisher's fantasy ceiling is capped, but his cross-category production makes him a useful asset in deep seasonal settings. He could prove to be a sneaky flier in postseason formats, too.

Fisher (lower body) is expected to return for Thursday's home game facing the Maple Leafs, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher appears poised to return from a four-game absence with the team back in Nashville after a pair of games out east. The 36-year-old center has shown no signs of slowing down, picking up 41 points (17 goals, 24 assists) -- including 17 on the man advantage -- through 68 games this season.

Fisher (lower body) stayed back in Nashville as the team set out for a two-game road trip.
EDGE Analysis
The Preds return to the Music City on March 30, which will be Fisher's next opportunity to return to the lineup, having already missed Nashville's previous two contests. After a disappointing 2015-16 campaign -- just 23 points in 70 contests -- the center appears to be back on track as he has racked up 17 goals and 24 helpers this year. The veteran continues to log significant minutes -- 16:45 of ice time per game -- and will almost certainly resume his role on the power play once given the all clear.
