Fisher was held off the scoresheet for the fifth time in the past six games in Saturday's 5-0 shutout win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
After averaging roughly 45 points the previous two seasons, Fisher has regressed badly this year, and will be lucky to hit the 20-point mark given his current pace. A lower-body injury that caused him to miss 11 games in December surely didn't help, but beyond that, Fisher has just not been his usual productive self. He's now playing regularly as the Preds' third-line center, which will further limit his scoring opportunities. Bottom line, Fisher is far too unreliable to be in your fantasy lineup right now.

Fisher broke a seven-game pointless drought with an assist in Saturday's 3-0 shutout win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher has really been struggling to generate offense since missing most of December due to a lower-body injury. To compound matters, ever since the Preds went and traded for Ryan Johansen earlier this month, Fisher has been bumped to the third line and has seen his ice time drop to the 14-16 minute mark, well below the 18 minutes per night he was averaging previously. All things considered, going forward we expect Fisher's point production will continue to be inconsistent at best.

As expected, Fisher returned to the lineup Monday against the Rangers following an 11-game absence due to a lower-body injury. "I felt pretty good," Fisher said after his first game in nearly four weeks. "A little bit of time to get kind of legs and wind underneath me a little bit, but for the most part felt OK. I thought that was a solid effort."
EDGE Analysis
Fisher did not factor into any of Nashville's five goals on the night, but saw 16:47 in ice time (including 1:34 on the power play), had one shot on goal, dished out three hits and won 10 of 17 faceoffs. He spent most of the game centering the Preds' second line between Colin Wilson and Viktor Arvidsson. Feel free to get him back in your fantasy lineups if you haven't done so already.

Fisher (lower body) indicated that he will return to the lineup Monday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher has been sidelined with a lower-body injury since Dec. 1, but will finally return to action Monday after indicating that would likely be the case. It's unclear exactly where the veteran will slot in to the lines and who he will replace in the lineup, but that should be cleared up when the team takes the ice for warm-ups, if not before then.

Fisher (lower body) is hopeful to return for Monday's contest with the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher has missed the Predators' last 11 games, and would be a huge addition to the lineup if he is able to return Monday. The 35-year old is no longer a 20-goal scorer, but he still plays big minutes (18:44 per game) for Nashville.

Fisher (lower body) will not play Saturday night versus the Red Wings, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately, Fisher will require more time to heal from his lower-body ailment, despite the Christmas break that afforded the Preds four days between games. The will be the 11th game missed by Fisher, with Monday's home tilt with the Rangers being Fisher's next shot to hit game ice.

Fisher (lower body) took part in morning skate again Monday, but will not play Monday against the Candiens.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher remains on injured reserve due to a lower-body issue, but Monday marked the second straight practice he participated in. The 35-year-old forward appears to be nearing a return, and with a break ahead for the club, it wouldn't be surprising if he rejoins the lineup Saturday against the Red Wings.

Fisher (lower body) was on the ice for the Saturday morning skate, Ryan Porth of ESPN Nashville reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is an encouraging development if you're fishing for the fiery center to return to game ice sooner than later. While Fisher is no lock to play Saturday night versus the Wild, it appears that he is drawing close to a return after missing the past eight contests.

Fisher (lower body) won't play this week, which means he will at least miss the Predators' next three games, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fisher has resumed skating, but still hasn't returned to practice, and won't be available for the Predator's next three contests at the very least. The veteran forward could potentially draw back into Nashville's lineup Monday against Montreal, but will likely need to log several practices prior to that game for that to be a possibility. The 35-year-old forward is on injured reserve, meaning the Predators should announce his activation once he is fit to play.

Fisher (lower body) did not participate in the morning skate ahead of Saturday's match with the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
This all but rules out Fisher for Saturday's home tilt. Already, the centerman has missed five games with the ailment and likely needs to get in more practices to prove his health before the team will feel comfortable putting the 35-year-old back in the lineup.
