Michal Rozsival was activated from the IL on Tuesday December 6.

Michal Rozsival has been cleared for contact and is nearing a return to action. He has been out since the first game of the season due to a concussion after taking a puck to the face but is ready to test his recovery by taking hits in practice. Rozsival will also need to improve his conditioning before he gets into game action. He looks to be about a week away from returning to us.

Coach Dave Tippett is hopeful that Michal Rozsival will be able to accompany the Coyotes on their road trip next week. He has been skating regularly the past two weeks after being sidelined since the opening game of the season due to concussion-like symptoms. Rozsival was struck in the face by the puck back on Oct. 8 and he hasn't played since.

Michal Rozsival skated on Tuesday for 15 minutes, but it's cloudy when he'll return after being hit in the face with a puck on opening night. "He got hit with with a puck, and he was cut, and when you're looking at the concussion-syndrome thing, it's anybody's guess," said coach Dave Tippett. "I don't think anybody expected Sidney Crosby to be out as long as he has either. That's just something, day to day, you see where he is. He keeps trying to move forward, and (Tuesday) was a positive step, getting him back on the ice."

"I don't think he's close to skating yet," coach Dave Tippett said. If he is on your fantasy squad, keep him reserved for now.

I don't think he'll play (Saturday)," coach Dave Tippett said." Consider him day-to-day for now.
