Michal Repik was called up from the minors on Friday January 18.

The Florida Panthers have recalled Michal Repik from AHL San Antonio. He has contributed two goals and five points in 16 NHL games this season, in addition to picking up 24 points in 35 contests at the minor-league level.

Michal Repik has been placed on waivers by Florida. The Panthers are getting healthier, so a roster move had to be made even though the 23-year-old Czech has played with plenty of energy since being brought up from the minors. "Basically, I'm the only guy here on a two-way contract. I hope some team picks me up but I want to stay with this organization but I want to play in the NHL," said a torn Repik. "I don't want to play on the farm team anymore. This last month I even prove to myself I can play in this league. Before I was questioning myself if I'm good enough to play in this league. Obviously, there are some things I can do better but ... I feel very good for myself in last month here. We'll see what happens."

Michal Repik scored a goal in Florida's 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh on Friday. Jason Garrison and Krys Barch assisted on Florida's lone goal. Barch also spent five minutes in the sin bin for fighting.

Michal Repik netted his first goal of the season on Thursday. Repik was called up on Wednesday and playing in just his sixth game of the season with the Panthers. He has three goals and 14 points in 22 AHL games in 2011-12.

Florida has brought up Michal Repik from AHL San Antonio. He has skated in five games with Florida this season, but failed to earn a point despite eight shots on goal.

Michal Repik was called up from the minors on Tuesday December 6.

Michal Repik will report to AHL San Antonio. Repik has no points in five games with the Panthers this season. He isn't expected to have any fantasy value in 2011-12.
