That's the good news. The bad news is Raffl also has no points and a minus-6 rating in the last four games. Still, Raffl has posted more than one-third of his points this season in the last 14 contests. He is far from his 2018-19 goal total, but Raffl should be able to reach the 20-point plateau again. He has six goals and 18 points with a plus-2 rating in 59 games.

Raffl scored a goal and set up Scott Laughton's game-winner in a 3-2 win over Ottawa on Monday.

Raffl's goal improved his shot percentage to 11.1 for the year, which shows just how few pucks he's actually gotten to the net (54). He's shown signs of picking things up on offense with four points in his past four games, but you should still be able to find plenty of players like him on the waiver wire.

The fourth-line winger has notched points in back-to-back contests and spoiled Carey Price's shutout bid with a tip-in goal Thursday night. With only 13 points through 47 games this season, Raffl shouldn't be deployed on a regular basis in any format.

Raffl has a goal and an assist in the last three games, but prior to scoring on Jan. 19, Raffl had an 11-game pointless streak.

EDGE Analysis

The 30-year-old has gone pointless for at least eight games on two different occasions this season, so while it's great he broke out of his slump, he could easily fall back into another one. Raffl has three goals and nine points in 36 games, and most of those points have been bunched together. Owners can safely leave him on the waiver wire even in deep leagues.

That's about in line with what he produced in the first 13 games as well. Compared to last season, Raffl has been disappointing. He had 13 goals and 22 points in 2017-18, and this season, he has two goals and seven points in 26 games. His plus-5 rating through the first part of the season was much better, but recently, Raffl has contributed more in the PIM category. That's where he will help owners in deeper leagues the most.

Raffl first goal of the season snapped a 20-game drought for the veteran right winger. The 30-year-old Austrian has had a disappointing campaign in 2018-19, brought on mostly by a lack of shooting. Through 21 games, he's only fired 21 shots on goal, and it's hard to score if you don't shoot. Stay away from Raffl until he shows more signs of life on the ice.

He played just north of 12 minutes, but Raffl posted his first point in 10 days. Nevertheless, owners have to be disappointed he's still looking for his first goal. Raffl scored 13 goals last season in 76 games, but to open 2018-19, he has zero scores and five assists in 18 contests. Unless owners want to deploy him for hits -- he has 41 -- Raffl is fantasy irrelevant.

Raffl picked up two assists and added a team-high five hits, one shot, and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

EDGE Analysis

The points were his first in four games since he recovered from a lower-body injury and was activated off IR at the end of November. Raffl's never been a big scorer -- his career high is 31 points, set back in 2015-16 -- but his physical style does provide him with extra value in formats that count categories such as hits.

The Flyers activated Raffl (lower body) off injured reserve Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Raffl's return to action should provide the Flyers with some much-needed depth scoring, but it won't impact many fantasy lineups, as he's only totaled 24 points in 85 appearances over the past two seasons. The Austrian winger will likely slot into a bottom-six role against the Senators on Tuesday.
